Interesting... Bolton leaves, just after Rummy. It's almost as though there are people who have decided quit while ahead and leave the democrats to their own devices, just to teach everyone how incompetent and dangerous they are... a'la Atlas Shrugged.

George Voinovich CRYBABY scene helped sink the Pubs and Bolton. He won't be re-elected either!

We can only hope not. I just listened as the honorable Senator George Allen conceded. I cam away in tears. This is an unthinkable travesty!

He'd be wasted there...if he had a little more experience, I would have hoped that he would have been tapped for the Pentagon job. I pray that we see him run as a conservative VP for Giuliani or Romney in '08.

Love that guy.

Perhaps after you have a time to rest, you'll feel differently. This entire mess has taken a great deal out of me, and that's for sure.

No, he should submit Bolton before congress as planned. If the Dems block him or vote him down, it's their fault. Bush should not lose any opportunity to show the electorate that the Democrats are opposing everyone with US interests at heart. These Quislings need to get the blame they deserve after their political agenda takes its toll on the country.

I called my congressman and told him he better pass a message to the president to stand up for Bolton. If he doesn't he is going to lose more of his base.

Why can't John Bolton be recess pointed again?
He can, but he would have to serve without pay (per the article).

I say Bush and Cheney should take their oil profits and pay John Bolton's salary just so they can see the Dems reaction when John says, "I'll serve with no pay just because I love America."

I've got a feeling that we haven't seen anything yet. Please ping me when the revolution begins.

The DIms have the chopping block ready and the hatchet to go with it! What a travesty to lose a man like Bolton..and of course they will replace him with a twit of their own choosing. Bolton certainly could be used in a better place, but with what is going on, soon there won't be any!

President Bush has strongly supported Bolton and has repeatedly called upon the Senate committee to allow the nomination to go to the full Senate for an "up and down vote." Senate Democrats again blocked such a vote Wednesday evening.

...and they'll only have to continue doing that until January. After that, there's probably not a chance in hell. Thanks again, stay-homers.
