that was actually a pretty good movie with what I thought was a conservative message.

Too much nudity and racy content for children, but for adults I liked it.

The very idea of a public school is a form of government force.

Agreed, which is why I want to move towards a market approach to schools.

I must admit to being confused about the hypothetical situation we are dealing with here. Is the 99% school created as a private institution, or merely as an additional public school?

What if it had been proposed by a bunch of white people? Would it make any difference if it was private?

As a matter of personal opinion, I would be much more skeptical of the motives for an all-white school.

As a matter of law, I wouldn't object to an all-white school, so long as it was a private institution. People have the right to associate as they choose, so long as they are not violating rights in the process. I may not like their reasons, but I respect that right.

Picking a good wife is luck of the draw bro. You have no idea what you are going to get.

Ain't that the truth!

Once again the government sticks it's unwelcome nose into people's lives. It just never ends, does it? This is another sign the government has way too much money.

You get screwed by the government the moment you enter the workforce.

sounds weird because of how our culture functions, but with all the diseases, unwanted pregnancies, and poverty with child being born to unprepared single parents, maybe it is a good thing.

Yep. 'Amen'.

At least until either the muzzies or the new agers are a majority, then FR will be atwitter about how government shouldn't enforce morality.

I want the government to no more say over my 'morality' than I would want it to have if it were run entirely by Muslims. A government that can enforce a 'Christian Nation' is one that can enforce Sharia in a few dozen years given the rate of Muslim immigration and breeding.

"There is no right to act in a way that's morally evil. No right to abortion. No right to sodomy. No right to adultery. No right to pornography."

Outside of the abortion issue you list above, the rest are not directly harmfull to anyone that is not involved and consenting to the activity. Are you actually claiming that there is no inherent right to sin? If so, why did God give man the gift of a free will? What value is the gift of heaven when man is forced to adhere to God's will?

Is not the reward of a place in heaven a reward for freely giving your soul to God? If you are forced, by government mandate, to follow God's will, is not that choice taken from you? If you have no choice, how can you be rewarded?

Respectfully disagree. IMHO there are two factors that greatly increase knowing what you are going to get:
-date for at least a few years (Dr. Laura nails it on this) Anyone can be cool for a few months..
- get to know her mother. In my case my MIL is a Godly, intelligent, loving person who I nearly worship, a missionary and Stanford trained nurse with 'The Voice' of the Bene Gesserit out of Dune (I swear Herbert must have modeled it after her), the ability to TELL someone what to do and have them obey at a brain stem level is probably a requirement for a top=notch nurse. My wife is very sweet and submissive but I KNOW that underneath the submissive crust that lets and expects me to be head of the house is a CORE that can take charge; the few times it's happened I've not been surprised. They won't be exactly like mom but the apple does NOT fall far from the tree generally.

"since when has this been a government concern?"

I think the Clinton Administration started it.
Inadvertently, since they created a "moral backlash".

Some of the Founders were actually against having a Bill of Rights because they were afraid it would be twisted in an argument that you only have the rights that are explicitly enumerated.

Check out the Comstock Laws. This isn't the first time the federal government has assumed that they can and should mold society by trying to eliminate extrmarital sex.
