Listen to this guy with Tony: he's asking if Cheney and Bush are saying that Kerry is lying -- but nobody is asking if Kerry was saying that John McCain was lying when he said "McCain knows I didn't say that."
Typical.

never can hear Indian guy...Tony: there was a strike in Pakistan to go against Al Qaeda. Attacks are trying to do everything they can do inflict carnage and mayhem. Pres. Musharref is showing determination and courage.
Reporter trying to parse Kerry's statement...said he was trying to insult commander-in-chief at a time of war. Kerry said he apologized to no one.
Was Kerry lying? Tony: Sen. Kerry's problems are with the troops and servicemen. Last year he talked about US forces going after children...Service men and women just want him to say, look I got it wrong...

"David Gregory:...believes Dems have a plan." LOL: The Democratic "Plan" is.....to have a plan! But, don't ask them what the plan is. They haven't gotten that far.

Exactly.
I've said it a million times, but I'll say it again: these are the very same people that tried to destroy this country back in the 60's, and now that they have managed to get themselves in positions of power and influence, they're back to finish her off.

You watch, now that hilly has said "inappropriate", that will give the weak cover for others to start making remarks.
But it's too little and it's WAY TO LATE!
After all, our brave and SMART troops have already had time to paint a giant poster, take a picture of it and send it to us half way round the world.......and we are still waiting for most of the dems to say something.
Where is that veteran in the Virginia race, Jim Webb?

what skerry said was essentially to call our military stupid, which by extension means their families and their friends, their flag waving neighbors.......skerry is clueless in politics.

Those not calling for an apology are just delaying the end of the story. I think it would be just dandy if this is a slow and painful process for Kerry and it will allow the Republican candidates to dog their opponents about why they have not asked for Kerry to apologize.

Regardless of how this effects the current election, he will never, never be a serious candidate for national office.

It is disgusting. Kerry reminds me of when I was in college with the maggot infested dope smokiing bunch who were just protesting to get out of class
Re: Baghdad: Tony: wwe are continuing to go after violence in Sadr city. We needed to make it possible for people to go back to work. I defer to PM Malaki. We are still looking for kidnapped soldier (in Baghdad)...
Will people accept his apology? Tony: First, he has to apologize. People are pretty forgiving if he says he messed up and he's sorry...

Tony Snow on BOR tonight?
Thanks for the info. Got a lot of overlapping concerns today to pay attention to, so thank you both for the heads up. Will have to review later.

Everybody knew that aleady except him; he drags reporters into his house in Georgetown to make them watch films of him in Vietnam.
This is a crazy man.

Why don't you ask us. We are right here.
I will gladly accept Kerry apology, if offered with his resignation.

The press corps is trying to compare Cheney's comment with Kerry's comment. The BIG difference is that Cheney spoke in a manner that would be considered supportive of the troops, no matter how it was interpreted.
Kerry's comment undermined either the troops or the President, no matter how it was interpreted.

Tony: Dems are trying to resist everything President has done re: patriot act, detention. We have to deal with these things together.
This is a close election. We are doing everything we can to help GOP candidates. It's a tight election. PResident does need people who support him on economy, GWOT, Judges, education, etc. We intend to keep working through the last day of this Administration.
Lester: embryos for research? Missouri plan? Tony: President doesn't believe Fed. money should be used in embryonic stem cell research. He understands people will do research in private sector. Adult and cord stem cells are showing more promising results...Lester: re: Michael Steele event barred to the media? WHy are you participating in something barred to the media? Tony: A man's home is his castle. You are trying to storm the castle.

Tony: I give positive messages...I will not be inserting any comments about Sen. Kerry. Let's talk about positive comments. That's a more powerful incwentive to get involved and feel good about it.
I think very highly of Mike. It's a closed event.
end of briefing...

Except there was only one way to interpret what he said.
I don't give a damn what Kerry says.
