it's not ANOTHER PERSON it's the President of the United States of America.

I'm an aussie. I would expect nothing less if a threat was made against our Prime Minister.

I checked you bio page. Let me ask you, what would be your reaction of one of YOUR CHILDREN did something like this?

I know mine would get a swift cuff under the ear!

This mother obviously suffers from Bush Derangement Syndrome and she's infected her daughter with it.

She should have been questioned, and where were her parents when she was writing this trash? If I were her parents I would be upset over what she did.

Well, I guess there's no problem then. We never question people with hearts stenciled on their backpacks. Sorry, Ma'am.

(laughing......good one)

The incident has upset her parents, who said the agents should have included them when they questioned their daughter.

It seems to me that they should have been included.

Clinton would have sent them to find out when she gets her braces off from school.

She already had been taught a lesson.
Sandy Berger walked.
clinton walked.
clinton walked.
Tennet walked.
Jefferson (D-LA) is in the process of walking.
She learned a lesson allright.

My 76 yr old mom said she`d like to wash her mouth out with soap.

Your mom has the right idea.

I grew up in a home with parents who would have never tolerated such disrespect toward any adult. My parents were both Republicans but we were never taught to hate Democrats. Had I ever showed such disrespect I would have agreed to eat a bar of soap in lieu of the thrashing I would have received.

I thought that odd too. Either this kid is brilliant (which is not evident in her actions) OR this kid slinging so much bullsht that she goes around telling people her name is tommy flanagan.

Move over Cindy Sheehan! A new hero for the employees of the MSM. Today's MSM employees or as I call 'em, the skid marks on journalism's shorts.

Don't suggest killing a President. If Hillery had been President, I am sure the Secret Service would have acted in the same manner.
Well, that depends. If the threat had still be to kill GWB after he left office, Hillary would have put a link to the page on the official White House website, and gone to speak to her high school as a gesture of appreciation.

And it could still happen.

Julia Wilson

Julia Wilson, 14, got a surprise visit from two Secret Service agents Wednesday at McClatchy High after the words "Kill Bush" appeared on MySpace.com. Her mom, Kirstie Wilson, says she should have been present when her daughter was questioned.

Thanks. She's a cute kid. I don't know why I posted that... I was curious as to what she looked like, but I don't have prurient interest in 14 year olds.

Isn't it nice to know that the "peace-loving" Left is producing such nice "peace-loving" young Americans [who want to kill elected officials].

No, we can't let the democRATs/liberals/communists/socialists anywhere near power to govern.

The funny thing is her parents were upset with what the Secret Service did but probably aren't the least bit upset with their "darling" little princess for making the threats.

If I was a minor I don't think I would want to be questioned by anybody without my parents around. That said, I'd be more afraid of my mom and dad than I would be the police.

While this girl is probably guilty as heck, there is such a thing called due process of law: innocent until proven guilty. Keep in mind the possibility that it is very easy for someone else to pose as you online, and post things that would get you in trouble. The FBI uses this technique (i.e. creating a false identity) to catch child predators.

The parents should have been called in and questioned as well. If they didn't know what their little darling was doing, they know now. They need to learn a lesson, too.

Her mom, Kirstie Wilson, says she should have been present when her daughter was questioned.

Welcome to the world of "zero tolerance" Kirstie. Have fun.

Oh and by the way it was your buddy Bill Clinton who made zero tolerance federal law via the Safe Schools Act which essentially allows children to be questioned without a parent present--among other unconstitutional things.

The plan is to get "the children" used to living in a society where there is no freedom and commies like him call the shots.

Sure is scary when you get what you vote for. /sarcasm off

I really don't think she has anything to worry about from her parents.

You wrote that you wouldn't want to be questioned by the Secret Service, I don't think you would threaten the President regardless of your personal beliefs.

Yes there is due process, but you can be detained for reasonable suspicion of a crime so long as the detainment is for a reasonable time. I did not read that they kept her locked in a room for thirteen hours. I gotta say making threats, even in jest, against a sitting President meets the reasonable suspicion standard.

You wrote that you wouldn't want to be questioned by the Secret Service, I don't think you would threaten the President regardless of your personal beliefs.

No, I wouldn't, but I am aware that IF I made a stupid nasty threat online I would expect the authorities to show up at my door to question me.

As previously stated, if I was a minor, I wouldn't want to be questioned without my parents present. As a parent I wouldn't want my child questioned without me present either. If the Secret Service were to show up at my door for any reason, I would not want to be questioned without my lawyer present--that is my right, and yours.

The flip side to all this is that anybody can post anything online with your name on it and you can find yourself falsely accused, and that happens a whole lot more than you may think. Conservatives seem to have a block of wood in front of their faces when it comes to certain constitutional issues. I'm not one of them. We are supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in America, though the reality is quite the opposite.

This little girl did a very stupid thing, and she and her parents got a good lesson in how things really work. I hope they learned it.
