That's going to leave a bruise. You'd better put some ice on that, Ted.

Kennedy's office had a terse response.

Exactly what sort of response could they have? Truth speaks quite loudly.

Don't you just love it, Kennedy KILLED a girl, went home and slept it off and walked in to the police fresh as a daisy the next day to mention there was a girl at the bottom of the river - and his office won't dignify mention of it witha response!

The point is Kennedy is an immoral killer and the dems give him standing ovations every day.

He spoke the truth. the truth that should have been spoken years ago. A young semator married , out partying with a yount secretary, drunk. he drives hr off a bridge, He leaves her there and swims to the mainland sobers up calls his lawyer gets a Kennedy Judge and then returns to find the police diving for her body. It doesnt get any worse than that and he never skipped a beat, went back to being a senator and no one questioned about the ethics of manslaughter.

Now he sticks his fat drunken nose in every case and has "wise"things to say about the ethics of others.

We havent even mentioned the rape he sat through in Florida, of ,making hios kid iligitimate by an annullment and driving his wife insane. Ted Kennedy is slime. the worst kind of slime, its time someone said so.

I hope Mr. Shay's life insurance is paid up. Libs in that part of the country don't take kindly to even the perceived mention of "the C word." In 1994, the rumor got around that Mitt Romney had uttered "the C word" (he hadn't) and his campaign received several death threats which the FBI told him to take seriously.

HARTFORD, Conn. --Republican Rep. Christopher Shays defended the House speaker's handling of a congressional page scandal, saying no one died like at Chappaquiddick in 1969 when Democratic Sen. Edward Kennedy was involved.

"I know the speaker didn't go over a bridge and leave a young person in the water, and then have a press conference the next day," the embattled Connecticut congressman told The Hartford Courant in remarks published Wednesday.

I'd like to nominate this guy for Senate Majority Leader considering he appears to be vicious enough .... or at least it is a start.

Quote: "This is symptomatic of Chris losing his composure in a tight race," Farrell said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press Wednesday. "Chris just seems to be lashing out in anger."

No, its symptomatic of Republicans starting to fight back after the October "Foley" suprise. Reid is next on the pinata fest. Better strap on the body armor dems, if you want to throw stones from your glass houses, you had better be ready to be covered in glass.

Farrell said the scandal, which polls show could hurt the GOP's bid to hang onto control, has affected her because her 19-year-old daughter Margaret was a Senate page when she was 16.

OK, but would you let your daughter ride in a car with Uncle Teddy?

Didn't think so...

2 or 3 weekends ago, Kim Komando on her radio computer show let a caller ramble on about this.

Kim did a monologue about her ordinary upbringing, how her parents bought a fixer-upper in a now tony neighborhood. She was going on about her career as a drywaller and 'lectrician, when she fielded the call.

The guy said "yeah, I know where that was, my parents lived there, just down the street where the Kopechnes lived, after they got their money from the Kennedys." He was allowed to wonder how they could accept money without publicly demanding justice for their daughter's death at the hands of Ted Kennedy. And Kim let him go on for 3 minutes, an eternity for a caller, she even did her uh-hum and and some give and take!

Maybe there is hope for this world.

Kennedy's office had a terse response. "This just makes clear the real need for change in November, beyond that I'm not going to dignify such a desperate attack with a response,"

I still wonder just how Edward* Kennedy sleeps at night.

Even soaked in scotch, doesn't it ever just eat at him that he selfishly and cowardly sniveled away from the Dike Bridge on Chappaquiddick while Mary Jo Kopechne died in a desperate, gasping 2-hour frenzy in Edward's Oldsmobile?

Perhaps he doesn't "dignify" such a vision with a conscience.

* I decline to use the familiar form "Teddy" when referring to Mister Kennedy. He's not, nor will he ever be a friend of mine.

I always thought Shays was kind of a Rino wuss, but someone must've really got him P.O'ed

Liberals always consider that an unfair reference.

I also heard Steve Roberts say awhile back that it was unfair to call Byrd a KKK member because that was "a long time ago".

IMO, it's more than past time for the Republican Party to start taking the offense. Nice guys come in last! I say, get in the gutter with them and start fighting. Liberals don't know how to do anything but fight dirty. They're slime through and through.
