Well since the Republican leadership has known of the emails since last year and did nothing to force Foley out or to retire, they will get what they deserve come November. They are doing everything but annointing Nancy Pelosi as speaker.
The Democrats would embrace his homosexuality.
McGreevy, was having sex with a male intern..the only difference being a few years age on the intern. McGreevy was also paying the intern with government money. He declared he was a homo when caught, and the Dems embraced him.

If you are referring to Golan Cipel, I don't think that he was an intern. McGreevey gave him a pretty high paying job in his administration. I think it was as some sort of security adviser. As for the age, there is a difference, Golan Cipel is in his thirties.
I've read just a little on this from different articles. I am not sure what e-mails were known when or by whom. But if you are right that the ugliest ones were exposed to high-ranking Republicans a long time ago, we (the Republicans) are in trouble in November..... because, the old liberal media is going to play this music like a five week concert stay at Carnegie Hall.

I wrote earlier on another thread.....
I was watching CNN late this night while cutting slices in my flesh (kidding) ....... and CNN was playing up the Republican Party Cover up Angle for a great deal of the news segment. They not only are going to concentrate on that angle for weeks ahead, they started a POLL on the question of this Republican Perversion Cover up. This may just be pretty bad.

The democrats and their media will play this for sure form now until election day and they will play it 24/7. However they are still going to lose the elections.
I hope you are right, but I'm one guy out here who never underestimates the ongoing dedicated, ruthless power of the old liberal media and the relative gullibility and ignorance of many American voters.
We'll see.
No doubt that the democrats will be at least 15 points behind in any elections if not for the liberal media. The question is why does not the liberal media deliver every elections to the democrats? In fact why are the democrats losing more elections than they are winning ones?
