Last night the History Channel ran a show about the Mexican American war that needed a barf alert. It was so biased about our "theft" of mexican territory I would think it was produced by LULAC. Yeah...I saw some of it, too. Who knew the only reason we won the war was that Santa Ana had to retreat to Mexcio City to stop a civil war ? And here I thought we actually chased the dude all the way to Mexico City.
We could have taken the whole dang country, and probably should have.

This was one of the reasons Mexico encouraged immigration from the US into Texas, to stop trouble with the Indians. It backfired on them.
That fact sure puts a kink into the LULAC/MECHA fantasy of "taking Azatlan back".

(If stupidity got us into this mess, then why can't it get us out?)

"True but American Farmers are competing with Latin American Imports that pay much less wages and thus much cheaper products than American Farmers can produce. Same as Ford, GM vs. Toyota etc. Imports kill American Jobs"
Then do what other posters have suggested on this thread and mechanize. Become more efficient.
