I'm on it.

Cedar Park Texas has a Citgo station that is usually one cent cheaper than the other stations (Go Mart, Hwy 183 North Bound Lane).

Since I have a 15 gallon tank, I find it Patriotic to pay an extra 15 cents per fill up, so I don't have to pay Hugo for my gas.

It's easier said than done. I live near the Citgo refinery in Louisiana and let's just say that more than Citgo get's the gasoline. I personally wish they would simply expropriate the refineries and shut Chavez up.

Chavez sold all the Citgo stations in the US - I believe the deal will be complete in a few weeks.

I never buy Citgo gas, and I know, I know, those are local people who profit from it but the shouldn't be in business with that lunatic in the first place. I'd walk a mile with a gas can first!!!!

Someone else will buy it. About the only thing a major boycott of CITGO will bring about is a closing of the US offices that employ about 4,000 Americans. Chavez, of course, loses because he doesn't get his stick to threaten us with, but he'll still have tankers lining up to buy his oil.

The House of Saud thanks you for your opinion and hopes that you'll attend a mosque they funded in your neighborhood.

Been personally boycotting Citgo for several months now. Even risked running out of gas in a not-so-nice neighborhood the other night until I found a Texaco.

Hugo can go take his oil, and his Noam Chomsky book, and hang for all I care.

The sheeple are clueless and a freeper boycott would be painless.

There is a station down the street and I thought how appropriate it would be to have a sign out front with Hugo's picture and message "Buy my gas you stupid Americans"

Citgo is in the process of selling all its refinery operations in the US. You don't think they're dumb enough to own anything here while they are stealing our property there, do you?

I've avoided his stations for some time, and tell all my family and friends to do so also. Creep'in dictator!

I'd rather pay 5 cents more per gal then give Citgo my business

Thank you. I've been saying the same thing for a while now. But idiots will keep buying Chavez's ooze through Citgo despite his utterly disgusting and reprehensible blatherings in front of the UN, which all those 3rd world sub-humans heartily applauded, making the case even further for getting the UN the hell out of this country.

Does anyone know if Citgo or its subsidiaries operates on the West Coast? I know they're big back east. I haven't seen their gas on the West Coast for a number of years though since 7-11 stopped selling gas. I just want to be sure I and others don't purchase gas from a Citgo operation running under a different name here out West.

Well now I AM between a rock and a hard place.

We have one gas station with a convenience store in town that doesn't have any of those magazines in the store. No, I'm not talking about Playboy. I'm talking about all those "lad rags" that you have to quickly move your kids past at the checkout counters of nearly ALL of them. (BTW: Is Janet Jackson trying to make a comeback or something? But I digress). I made sure I did almost all of my business with them to thank them for keeping the store family friendly.

It was a Getty station but it just converted to Citgo in the past two months.

Bummer.

Shalom.

We haven't bought gas at Citgo since Huga Chavez and Venezuela's ownership of Citgo first hit my radar screen more than a year ago. Just about the time Pat Robertson was being excoriated for offering some very good advice on how to deal with Senor Chavez.

The company is owned by PDV America, Inc., an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A., the national oil company of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
