I don't like the fact that Mexico won't send back criminals either.
But using that to disregard Dog's crime is Not Conservative.

"You love Mexico so much we'll send you there in Dog's place."

I will pitch in, if it is a one way trip.

Oops! You accidentally forgot to post this part -

"He noted that Barnes shook hands with the bounty hunters after the scuffle, and that he only changed his mind when someone told him he had to file charges in order to later pursue a civil suit, an account confirmed by police reports.

"It's obvious the only reason there is a lawsuit is there is money there," Brown said."

Italy has warrants out for American agents that took some of the terrorists in raids in Italy. You are apparently in favor of sending them back to stand trial, aren't you?

So anybody who brings forth a lawsuit is automatically right?

Nope.

Niether are they automatically wrong.

I saw that episode.

You saw only what they edited and broadcast. The cutting room floor may prove you right or it may prove you wrong.

I'm sure you were just in hurry to reply when you wrote your post.

You should learn to express yourself ...tell us what you really think about Tom Tancredo. Let it all out and you'll feel much better.

Bounty-hunting is illegal in Mexico. He is a criminal and Tancredo is a hypocrite.

Border crossing into the US by undocumented Mexicans is also illegal? If the Mexicans would not send Andrew Luster back to the US for prosecution, why in the world would we send Dog back to Mexico for prosecution???

What a screwed up world we live in!!!!

"LOL! I saw that episode. The film they took will exonerate Dog."

As a matter of fact, the article says exactly that. police reviewed the tape and refused to charge anybody.

How clever, Dane is using both of his screen-names today. He's getting more sophistimicated. If this thread is like any other, he's gonna be owned like a Frenchman in a biker bar for a couple of days.

Yes, but not a felony.

I don't understand why anyone would hate Dog as much as some around here seem to. But it doesn't matter.

Go ahead and enjoy that Dog has some current struggles, but your enjoyment will be short-lived. As I posted on a different thread, if you think Dog's current problems are earned and that he deserves to suffer, have fun while you can. The bottom line, however, will be that Dog is going to cash in on this BIG TIME. He may have some discomfort for a while, but he is not going to spend any meaningful time in a Mexican jail, and he won't be forced to pay more money than he can recover from the publicity.

Dog will be a huge winner when the smoke has cleared. He will make more money and have more fans. The American public doesn't care about Mexico's laws. They don't care about the whole "woulda, coulda, shoulda" nonsense from the feds in regards to capturing Luster. The feds can say "but we coulda got the guy" all they want, that doesn't change the fact that Dog DID capture the rapist punk.

If his show was listed on the stock market, it would have gone up 10 fold in the last two days.

I would like to congratulate Dog on his increasing fame. While he may not have planned it this way, I am sure he is well poised to ride the situation to new heights - like any good capitalist would! :)

To: NapkinUser; anyone
If Chapman "illegally" captured Luster, does this mean that Luster could get out of prison, on some sort of a "technicality"?

I saw that episode, and the hotel owner was the one that provoked the confrontation. He was a total sleeze IMHO.
