Jerry Lee Lewis lived for awhile just South of here in Booneville, Mississippi, and was quite a character. He still is a hard one to be around but can rock with the best of them.

Unfortunately, I am old enough to remember each event.
I went to Catholic boarding school in Kentucky. Where I lived in WVA there were only two radio stations and they both played country. I remember one spring evening laying in my bed in the boy's dorm. The nuns let the high school girls go out on their balcony and play records. Hound Dog and All Shook Up. The first time I heard that kind of music. Not sure of the year, but I think it was 57.
