Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Condolences to the Richards family.
She set up an 800 number for comments when Texas was considering a Concealed Carry law, and said she especially wanted women to call...
Although it's quite obvious that you haven't seen the lion's share of my posts, which are positive and supportive of the people to whom I post. Don't make snap judgements based on insufficient evidence. It's not healthy.
(btw, I still believe that on a thread announcing the death of a person whom we may or may not care for, cheap shots are always inappropriate and disrespectful. There are other places to vent. As was said earlier on the thread, that's what separates MOST of us from those on DU..... JMHO).
Cheap shots, snap judgments? Now WHO is the one taking/making these cheap shots, snap judgments? I am confused as to who 'the WHO' is as I read the entire exchange between you and I...which I did not initiate, by the way.
I have no argument with you and no inclination to begin/start/continue one...I can help myself ;^)
I'm leaving on vacation here in just a bit, so, hey, feel free, have the last word...not saying anything, just another observation of mine...although, probably on insufficient evidence...:^)
Peace...Maybe?
btw, I was attempting to make 'peace' with my reply and joke about my argumentative nature (the truth is that 90% of my posts on this forum are positive. Another 'snap judgement' on your part, I guess....)
I will repeat the only relevant point.....I think that it's inappropriate to take a thread like this one to say nasty things about the person who has died. Apparently the Mods agree with the number of deleted posts on this thread..........and I am happy for it.
If you choose to continue this, so be it. But you will do it alone, because I have made my position clear, and have absolutely no desire to continue with any spitting contest on this thread.
Now, I'm going to take a nap because I got back from Philly at 3:00 in the morning and had to get up early for church, and I'm tired.....
