I know most Freepers don't believe in synchronicities, but O'Neill being killed in WTC2 on 9/11 sure does strike me as a tragic one..

I wonder if you'll always feel that way.

I hope so too but it's the kind of detail that's pretty small. And I think the president ordered the plan in May/June so by now the movie would probably show him talking about wanting a better plan to deal with terrorism.

It is tragic and reeks of Elizabethan irony.

If most of the people in our government were like O'Neill, this world would be a better place.
If you have not seen "The man who knew" it's a good one.

"the famous bin laden wants to strike us memo"
I don't know what the big deal about that memo is. It was well known long before President Bush was elected that bin Laden wanted to attack us here and already had. He'd issued his call for Holy War when Clinton was in the White House. I'm not sure exactly when they discovered that he was involved in the '93 bombing of the WTC, but the government knew it long before Bush took office. So what's the big deal of that stupid memo?

Nina Easton on FNC was saying the speech was SO political, because he talked about Iraq...and she said the only times he has mentioned Iraq in his 9/11 speech, is when there is an election in two months!!!

THIS is the
only disclaimer I need:
(Taken by a personal friend of a friend of somebody who knows somebody, etc. - The shot was taken on-site w/out use of any sort of PhotShopping and each and every pixel contained therein is authentic in every possible concievable (and inconcievable) manner. The shot was taken by an individual who was able to take the shot at extre me and great personal sacrifice; no animals where harmed in taking of that image. The image did not harm dolphins, whales or any spotted white-horned owls nor three toed yellow bellied mosquitoes)

To: Dog
you know, I think there might be several targets & I think we will see the ones who are currently potential candidates perhaps shown either in glowing review or shabbily. depending on party?
good observation Jim, despite other "comments"
Seems like there is a fairness here in this production which I like. I am not up on all as many of the FReepers are so cannot always separate fact/fiction.. but it seems pretty balanced to me thus far.
wouldn't it be nice if we could just trust journalists to be honest?

Nothing that they do to Bush tonight could possibly compare. So far the highest official to get the "knife" has been Condi Rice. Lots of FReepers would probably agree with that.
Not this one though. Anyone who is a strong second amendment supporter, stronger than her President in fact, gets the benefit of any doubt from me.

More Clintonista censorship no doubt.
To: Peach
So, in fact, he was planning to take care of the threat, and did so within 5 months of taking office. Unfortunately, because of Clinton's non-policy, we were too late.

About the only qualification I can think of is Radical Islam.
Which in my bigoted book is a Bushido Code of The Sands that just has
a false cover of religiosity for as a fig leaf.
