Actually, Hinsdale has a large population of 7th Day Adventists.

someone called to report a firecracker....
I don't care how crude a pipe bomb is, there's a significant difference between that and any given firecracker. Wrapping tape around it does not make it a 'crude pipe bomb'
now....putting a firecracker into a papertube stuffed with FFF grain powder, wrapping a lot of masking tape around it, and solid capping the ends with epoxy...that would 'legally' be a crude pipe bomb...a F'ing retarded ineffectual non detonating one...but legally, yea.
ya know..just saying...

Its too early to know any motive,
but we know it's not terror...
morons.

I think it was Swedish Lutherans. A can of surströmming (fermented herring) could blow up half of Hinsdale.

As the crow flies, yes.
It'll take you 11 minutes on the Metra from Kenwood to downtown Chicago and 21 minutes on the express to Hinsdale.

Just take the straightaway down 79th Street. And keep your doors locked.

In terms of the background of its denizens, yes. But it isn't that far a commute.

The Kenwood stop is at 47th St. Mosque Maryam is at 73rd. Even if you found the über-connection, there is no way. NO WAY.

I grew up in Hindale, and Elijah Muhammed was only a face on the evening news. The 7th Day Adventists were left over from when the Hinsdale San was still a tuberculosis sanitarium, on 55th st.

I knew it! The word HAS gotten out. Yet there's hope; no word on the real deep throat operatives...Swen, Ole, Lars & Lena. The movement lives on!!!

If not the surströmming, it had to be the Zulz or Spikganz hid in the waste basket by a German named Heinz.

Maybe 300ft if they are in a spotless Benz. But then it would be a tactical traffic stop.

Dude, you are seriously confused. I can't even figure out with what suburban community you are confusing Hinsdale.

It'll take you 11 minutes on the Metra from Kenwood to downtown Chicago and 21 minutes on the express to Hinsdale.
And then there's that little issue of getting from the Millenium or Van Buren Metra stop, where the Metra trains from Kenwood go in the Loop, to Union Station, where the Metra train to Hinsdale leaves. And the little issue of coordinating schedules on trains that don't run as often as the El. You'd be lucky to be able to get from Kenwood to Hinsdale in an hour using public transit.
