Typical LSM crap and a great rebuttal from the police chief on exactly the questions that need to be answered.

There is no prosecution here; the cops don't care because they know the Prosecutor will not prosecute. No one hunts these animals down - it is restricted for the most part to one neighborhood (where OJ grew up) and no-one cares.

Evidently the initial effects of abortion are beginning to wear out in San Francisco. They need build more clinics, makw Plan B available over-the-curbstone and paying ethnic breeders to either join the gay brigade or accept implant birth control.

Granted the payoff won't come for another 15 years or so, but that's the nature of 'cultural' problems. You have to lop off the bearers.

I just watched the whole video. This man is a voice of (justifiably angry) reason in a city full of pc nutjobs! I hope the people there are listening!

My condolences to the family of the murdered cop. He gave his life protecting the aforementioned nutjobs. What a terrible, terrible waste.

The murderous rampage has made it's way across our country. From Newark, NJ to Detroit, to New Orleans, San Francisco.......

When will the citizens take their streets back from the miscreants?

Ban handguns. That will solve the problem.

All jokes aside, it's bad here. I work here in SF (but thankfully don't live here). Almost all of this gun violence is black drug gangs and their wannabe hangers-on. Most of the shooting is drug related, of course, but a large part of it is personal revenge for some perceived slight. See, for those of you who live in the real world, it's hard to understand that among the tribes of the inner cities, perceived "disrepect" is answered with gunfire.

Such lovely people!

Yes, there are lots of gay people here. No, they don't shoot people. The gang problem is actually worse in Oakland, and almost as bad in Richmond. These are the only three cities in the Bay Area with large black populations and lots of gun crimes (gasp! really?)

One of our city "leaders" is currently jumping up and down and foaming at the mouth because the mayor won't declare a "citywide state of emergency" over the gang shootings. This "leader" insists this is a "city-wide problem"....

Well, actually, it's not. Those of us who go about our business outside the ghetto never see or hear any of this. We wisely avoid problem areas, and wisely profile people from those areas should they enter into areas of the city where they have no business being. So call me racist. Watch me lose sleep.

A lawless city has to expect lawless behavior from it's citizens.

Next to 1848, when gold was discovered in California, 1856 was perhaps the most exciting year of the era by reason of the flood of crime into the city and brought about the organization of the famous Committee of Vigilance of that year, a form of direct action which attracted the attention of the world to a new style of summary justice, the result of extraordinary conditions in San Francisco.

"... Mayor Gavin Newsom responded that his administration had already tried several measures to cut crime."

Mayor Gavin Newsom very seriously proposed to fight violent crime by putting more FIREMEN on the streets.

He's a complete idiot, and may I remind you that he was the 'reasonable' candidate for mayor.

It's so typical of liberals to fall on their own sword.

That's a thought. Legalize the soporific drugs like grass and heroin. Keep the speed illegal. By switching the thugs to friendly drugs, the layabouts will spend their time laying about.

The police must be repositioned at once to Sacramento, Lodi or Guam.

Time to do a "strategic redeployment" from San Francisco to Okinawa.
