This Sarasota resident is glad to have Jeb on our side. He's a pillar of strength.

We all know George W. Bush is steering that hurricane towards all those poor black folk in FL. The whites can escape, the blacks get wiped out or moved to another state and being poor they have a hard time moving back, the rich GOP whites come back, and FL votes GOP in 2006/2008. A brilliant Rove/Bush strategy.
Indeed, this hurricane is just a Rovian ploy to get Katherine Harris elected to the Senate. You can't fool me.

Jeb Bush Declares State of Emergency in FL prior to Hurrican Ernesto's arrival I trust Governor Blanco is doing the same in Louisiana since the path is still undecided.....

Funny, but President bush declared the entire Gulf Coast a FEDERAL DISASTER AREA a couple of days before Katrina but he was roundly criticized by the Left and the media for not doing anything. As I have stated in the past on threads, Dubya' could be the "Second Coming" and the Democrats would chastise him for making an entrance.
If Jimma' Carter were President in these ominous times the Dem's would be praising the great work although it would be a TRUE disaster with his handlings of it.

He is -- by far -- the best governor in the USA and -- if it weren't for his last name -- he'd be our next president.

ERNESTO WEAKENS TO A TROPICAL STORM... It's just a ploy. Rove/Bush are lulling those Dem blacks in FL into a false sense of security. He'll strengthen it to a hurricane and hit those black folk. It's the plan. Don't say the blacks in FL were not warned!!!

Hurricane Ernesto..... it's all (Jeb) Bush's fault!!!!!!!
To: NotJustAnotherPrettyFace
Just recently downgraded back to a tropical storm--but didn't Katrina do that too? Which is why so many people decided to ride it out?

He ought to declare a state of emergency over the way his buddies at big insurance are cornholing Florida residents.

I miss Jeb. I recently moved away and now have a wimpy Democrat governor.
Good luck in that glass palace, Jellyjam :-) I will be watching this one.

Should call Blanco for advice...Especially since it was his fault for letting Katrina get by Florida in the first place!

If the predictors are as wrong about this path as they were about the original path, this storm could be headed towards the Azores by Tuesday.
