I'm not surprised. Is anyone else?
I know I feel much safer knowing how our State Dept. is watching out for us/sar
Nope, not one bit. I would have been shocked if they had turned the former president down.
Khatami should be arrested for terrorism as soon as he steps off the airplane. Perhaps CAIR could invite Osama over for dinner as well.
" "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant." -- Omar Ahmad, CAIR chairman of the board, July 4, 1998.
BTW: Islam is not just a religion but a political system. The statement by CAIR chairman is a call to overthrow the US Constitution and replace it with Shariah law.

The main course should be lamb pilaf with an extra helping of arsenic.
'The Dialogue of Civilizations: Five Years After 9/11'
If they mean a dialogue between the west and islam, then there is really only one civilization in the conversation.
Forget CAIR, why is this guy allowed into the US?
Doesn't that outrage you??
The same CAIR that some idiots at Homeland Security gave a tour to of all of our security measures at airports? Or was that the State Department that gave the tour? Either way CAIR needs to be disbanded and its founding members put in Gitmo and or deported.
"why is this guy allowed into the US?"
Ask Undersecretary of State R. Nicholas Burns. His office made the decision to issue the visa.
And NO, you shouldn't forget that CAIR is honoring him and tying it into the 5th anniversary of 911. It's Too significant and insulting and outrageous.
Too bad our pussy governement doesn't have the balls to tell him to take a hike.
It really is time to dust off the old sedition laws.
I don't think he has gotten his visa yet.....according to another article I saw, the State Dept says they have not received the request.
Not only has it been restricted, but one of the sanctions that would be imposed by the security council, is NO visas to members of Iran's gov't.
I guess the State Dept. is sneaking in this last visa before the sanctions go into affect.
