I still think Lamont was some kind of Rovian plot.

They should be careful about what they ask for.

Joe is way too moral for the Dim party.

What a bunch of sleazeballs. They couldn't get what they wanted out of Lieberman so they want to silence him.

Critics of Sen. Joe Lieberman's independent run to keep his job attacked on two fronts Monday, with one group asking an elections official to throw him out of the Democratic Party and a former rival calling on state officials to keep his name off the November ballot.
It sounds to me like the dems are hittin the panic button..they know their man lamont is gonna get his a*s kicked, and the party of compassion is now pullin out the stops..IMHO

Actually Democrats are just starting to act like Republicans. What part of "GET RID OF EVERY DAMN
R(D)INO!!" does this Democratic strategy resemble most?
To: SmithL
Ever wonder what kind of hell is going to break loose in the Dem caucus when Lieberman wins and gets to assert his seniority over those tools who backed his opponent?

Well, here's Exhibit ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ that the liberal Dims are dumber than dirt. They're trying to force him out of the Senate Dim caucus, or make him so angry that he'd quit. That could be very interesting if the Senate caucuses end up a vote apart.

I'm still amazed that the 2000 Vice Presidential nominee for the Democrat Party has been treated like a leper by those that nominated him for that job.
I think that the treatment of Joe Lieberman by his "friends" is not lost on even the mildly politically interested voters.

I voted against a RINO and got a conservative republican in Tim Walberg.

I don't get it - shouldn't he be out of the party if the party didn't nominate him and he's still running?

And the sooner we get rid of moderate Democrats like Lieberman and leftist Republicans like Snowe/Chaffee et al the better off the country will be. Then the choices will be clear.
