Well, McCain seems very reasonable in his answers.
To Zook, I know you've gotten a ration from us all on this thread with regard to McCain. I expect that to continue as long as you continue to voice your support for him. I think a lot of folks dislike him to the point that he just won't win the nomination, but we shall see in 2008!

I'm not dismissing Bayh, but I see him at about the George Allen level.

#387, Brit thinks on his feet and listens to the answers to his questions, and therefore has smart followup questions. Totally unlike the partisan hacks like Russert that fondly imagine they are fair, unbiased Journalists who do not have a clue about listening to the answers, let alone venturing into the mine field of followups.

Then he talked to Chuck Hagel, who accused the President of killing Americans by sending them to Iraq I just about took off my shoe and threw it at the TV I was so pissed.
And Hagel's assertions that he was a Conservative made me ill. But Chris sure had him squirming when he asked the Bagel how he differed from Lamont. LOL

I think you and a lot of other posters here may need to breath the air outside of FR. McCain has a lot of respect from the independent voter, a constituency that any GOP candidate is going to need to attract.
We've been bashing McCain around here so long that we've lost some perspective. And I've been guilty of this, too, in the past. But I really don't believe McCain is "bipolar," "crazy," or anything like that.

It is a complex issue, but not too complex for me to have spent way too much time several months back discussing it over and over.
I support the President's position on this. Lots of other people don't. End of story.

I won't vote for either of them in the primary (McCain or Guilliani) but I will if either are the nominee. That's are far as I'll go. No Dem votes from me for the rest of my life, because when I'm dead, I'll surely be voting Dem then!

Wow! Given the anger I've apparently provoked, your post feels like a hearty handshake and slap on the back!

Just got word from Morgan they are not moving after all.
Now he has to hire the same 20 illegals and 35 teenagers from the neighborhood to unpack everything, good thing he only pays $3.00 per day,(plus lunch-cabbage and cold hot dogs--no buns).

#414, She is number two behind Schumer so even though she acts like she is the Senior Senator she will have to work harder to get attention, and he is always elbowing everyone away to get face time. What a duo,Barf, and Hurl.....

Did you read this post by Hugh Hewitt?

excellent article that has gotten a lot of links from the rest of the blogsphere (I don't like that middle "o" so I just don't use it... so there) <g>

Yes, those answers left nothing to be faulted. I am NOT a McCain supporter, believing him to be unstable, but I had to copy and paste the series of questions to show how MSNBC crafts their questions. Every one is a set up requiring a negative response, IF the guest is a supporter of policies that go against the DBM platform.
