I just heard Fox News talking about the Hezzie minister being called from a cabinet meeting. It seems that the Hezzies will refuse to disarm.

I believe that will violate the cease-fire agreement?

How long before we can get 17 UN resolutions?

They should just go ahead and put 16 sheets of carbon paper under all of their documents. It would save a lot of time.

Did Fox mention where this came from? Nothing on the wires or in local Israeli news sources I can see.

Fox just now got around to reading the FR thread about it from last week.

Agreed. Gulf War 1 was the last "conventional war" that the arabs will ever fight against a Western nation.

GW 1 showed them that arabs vs. the West in conventional war is suicide for the arab army. After learning the lesson of the "Highway of Death," they've spent the last 15 years testing and perfecting their new guerilla strategies.

What's worse, this strategy is working. Now that they know hiding among civilians and using the media as a weapon is much more effective, they will never try a conventional war again.

We'd better get used to these guerilla tactics and harden our hearts to the sight of small children being pulled from bombed-out rubble, because the arabs will keep doing this as long as it works well for them.

LOL! Too efficient.

I just saw another report that an Israeli minister said that there would be no cease-fire, only an end to offensive operations.

Talk about leaving your options open! ;)

Well, a 100 megaton device would create way too much fallout to pollute surrounding nations and even contribute to a "nuclear winter" effect in that area of the planet. Also, using it in an unpopulated area would just make them laugh at us even more (see, the soft, weak infidels are afraid to attack the might of the Ummah, because they know we are too strong to defeat! Allah is with us WOOHOO!).

Much better to use maybe a 10-meg on a city.

Landmines are moving so Hezzies can escape.

If their cities had no women, children, or elderly this whole problem would be a lot easier.

Damn. Israel should have started this war with attacks on Syria. Now it's may be too late. If the Israelis believe that Iran is planning mass missile strikes, or some other insanity, for 22 August, they probably won't want to provide a justification by invading Syria, or if a preemptive attack is deemed necessary it'll wait for the last minute.

They should have been pounding the pencil-necked geek all along. Making him pay the price for Iran's adventurism might have forced him to recalculate the value of his alliance with Iran.

Actually, I believe that when the Japanese General was asked why their Nay did not go on to attack the west coast of the US after Pearl Harbor, he allegedly responded, "because in America, there are two guns behind every blade of grass".

Nice going, Founding Fathers....nice indeed.

maybe the Syrians have just found Natalee Holloway.

Funny, and true of Fox and their "breaking news" everytime some notable breaks wind. Then again, I could somewhat believe that she might have been sold off into slavery and could still be alive in that region or the far east.

"Landmines are moving so Hezzies can escape."

That makes sense. This allows Hessies to slip into Syrian and by pass IDF troops. Time to get the MOABS ready. Highway of death two.

No. Not the 14th century -- uninhabited - as in you don't exist anymore.

Perhaps..., randomly timed after-strikes will result in less digging in rubble (or the photographing thereof)???

Reports were that Israel had lost some 30 tanks in Lebanon. Was that # exaggerated?
