What is of "virtual importance" is to avoid wasting time trying to appease those who have vowed to kill you as their mission in life.

Expecting some sort of civility due to "peer pressure" in the case of the Hezbo's is a sell-out for show purposes only, and will never last in the long term.

Only some of them.

In 2003 after the Iraq invasion, 1 million were at this this demonstration - of a country of 3.5 million.

Take this and all the demonstrations, I believe a majority of the population was hoping and praying that the Syrian influence could be eliminated.

Instead, their country was turned to rubble three years later. How would you feel? Granted their government didn't have a handle on keeping EVIL at bay in their own country. The result has been horrific.

Just this past week, our President said 'we are still not safe' [in the US].

The black hearted EVIL of terrorism is all over the world.

The only way it can be stopped now is for the Divine Good and Divine truth to manifest itself bodily, in person, on earth.

Hezbollah's are a part of the Lebanese govt. Nasrallah wants desperately to be Lebanon's president (or is it PM?)

I was referring to the fact that at the negotiating table were Lebanon and Israel...but not really the prime suspects ie Hezbollah.

.....Perhaps a GOTCHA by the western world.

I agree with you, the next time the huzzies pull anything on Israel, Israel will not be restained...no matter who's in the way.

Sharon would not get into this mess.

I think Sharon would have gotten into this. The difference is that Sharon would have been ruthless.

This is a sad day for freedom. How can we take our President seriously on the WOT after this? Going to war without the intention of winning is murderous.

They are calling the area the 30,000 "UN" troops are a buffer zone.

The only thing I see being buffered is Israels ability to sweep down on Hizbollah when Hizbollah starts launching rockets into Israel again.

"Ehud Olmert needs to be retired ASAP; he's incapable of making a firm decision, he has no backbone or intestinal fortitude, and beyond that appears wishy washy, he looks and acts like a worm. And we are all the worse for it. Especially Israel.."

Bush needs to be retired too. His administration pushed for the cease fire.

Bush is not at all serious about the war on terror and his actions in this case have proven it to me.
