Another 60s TV Icon gone. I didn't watch his show much - at my young age I was watching Gilligan, F-troop, The Adams Family, and all of the rest of the great kids afternoon line-up.
Man they had great TV back then. I have satellite now with dozens and dozens of channels, but many a night we flip through every channel and there is nothing on worth watching. I am sure back in the 1960s when we had 5 or 6 channels there was almost always something on worth viewing. Even the test pattern at 2:00 am was worth staring at for a few minutes just to be sure it would stay on.
Sorry I did a Thread too...
Mine came later...OOPS!
Did a check under Mike Douglas keyword even.
Guess I didn't do it right.
Didn't mean to double post the story.
Tis only my 3rd Thread...
I need more posting practice
of how to/where to look for 1st postings
of topics.
Any recent pics of him?
Also, whatever happened to Charley Calais(sp?)
As soon as I realized my oops I placed
a link back to your 1st posting of story.
Viaa my 2nd posting ...
May he rest in peace.
Blast from the past. I remember the Michael Douglas Show being on after school during the 1970s. I can still remember the flowers on the walls (like the Dating Game) and the laundromat chairs. They still got those type of plastic chairs in some laundromats today.
Sad news indeed.
