Anyone seen this from the rabid Lamont people?
http://hotair.com/archives/the-blog/2006/08/09/colmes-at-lamont-hq-hannity-sucks-ass-sign-seen-on-national-tv/
campaigned as a pro-life conserative, promised to work with dubya, would vote for conserative judges, nada nothing lying POS who immediately did a turncoat on the voters who supported him; kinda of reminded me of wussie Joe who was prolife conserative and then sold his soul to the devil, votes for partial birth abortion, shafted the military on their votes in 2000 and up until as late as last year was stilling talking about how he would be v.p. if "ALL THE VOTES HAD BEEN COUNTED", birds of a feather or in this case RATS flock together, they deserve each other and hopefully the voters in colorado will dispense of him too.
Current word used by Democrats that actually means "radical liberal," but doesn't turn the public's stomach.
And in which Lamont said Israel is guilty of crimes against humanity, among other "charming" statements along similar lines.
Like when he called Dobson the anti-Christ? LOL
Salazar barely won office as Republicans didn't like their candidate, thought Salazar would be a moderate, and Colorado has picked up some Dems in later years.
It's a swing state, but it's not yet MASS or CT. Dumping Leiberman who is popular among Liberals who don't hate their country wouldn't be the right move no matter what threats the Kos Dems in Colorado level.
Schumer didn't discard anybody. Connecticut's Democrats primary voters discarded Lieberman, and they're the only ones to blame. Schumer is head of the DSCC -- if he hadn't backed Lamont after the primary, he would have been fired.
You are being entirely too logical. Logic rarely plays a part in political maneuvering, especially where Demo/Commies are concerned. The intent behind my post was to point out that this situation could be exploited in a number of ways for scoring political points, and one of them is to take some of the phony "luster" away from Schumer. If Schumer believes that such a line of attack might be "unfair" or "deceptive", too bad - unfairness and deception are Schumer's tools of the trade, and it's about time, not to mention turnabout being fair play, that they be used against him.
Highest he can get on that list is #4, behind Dubya, Rove, and Rummy.
I'm sure there's a few more that I missed.
Looks like the masochistic Dims are reliving it all over again thru Lieberman. LIEb's misguided entry as an Indy is pure political theatre.
It's a kick to watch the Dims slither hither and thither---trying to make up their minds who to betray, who to endorse, who's a friend, who's the enemy.
Watta riot watching that CBS news clip----Sen Chris (sandwich) Dodd endorsing Lieberman, then switch-hitting to winner Lamont, lurking in the bgrnd trying to look invisible as Lamont made his victory speech. Ol' Dodd looked like he was at a hanging.
"Start melting the butter---lots of it. This is gonna be fun"
Needs to make this decision real by brining along dem congressmen and senators.
