And there are no reports yet from three relatively populous counties where Cauble is expected to do best (Finney, Ford, and Ellis counties).

It's still pretty early in the voting, but state Senator Jim Barnett holds a solid and steady lead.

Kansas has preferred Democrats to serve as Governor for 24 of the past 40 years, and, alas, the other 16 years were served by RINO Governors. No Conservative Republican has been elected Governor of Kansas since 1964.

Since your name indicates you're a doctor, do you support Jim Barnett, who's also a doctor?

I'm not from Kansas, so I don't know the players. I support those who want science taught in science class. Religion is fine in a comparative religion or philosophy class, but not in science class. Which side of this does Barnett take?

Keith Sebelius died in 1982. He didn't live long enough to see his son go squish and his slimy daughter-in-law get elected Governor exploiting his good name.

Dennis Moore is a suburbanite, a former Johnson County District Attorney. So, in their eyes, he's essentially one of their own. But that doesn't necessarily translate into support for a Kansas City-based candidate, as Kansas City is the big, bad city. Suburban residents usually have a negative impression of such places.

They put up these liberal RINOs and there's little reason to vote for a candidate that differs none from the 'Rat incumbent. We need to run the liberals out of the party for good, they've been a cancer in Kansas (not to mention elsewhere).

Personally, I don't know his views on Creationalism vs. Evolutionism. I'm not from Kansas, either.

But I couldn't help but wonder if you were favorably disposed towards physicians seeking public office, given your screen name.

Who is the "moderate Democrat" ? Dennis Moore is a down-the-line liberal who scored a 16% ACU rating in 2005 in a clearly GOP district. If the RINOs hadn't knifed the distinguished Vince Snowbarger, he'd still be the Congressman today. They're going to try to knife the equally distinguished Conservative Attorney-General Phill Kline this November with one of their apostates running as a 'Rat.

I would say it depends on the physician. I might favor one, all other things being equal, but I'd rather look at what they stand for, first.

The solution is to not vote for them, and to not to allow their Republican supporters to shame you into doing just that lest the 'Democrats gain control!'.

The only way conservatives will regain custodianship of the Party is to cede no ground, not an inch.
When you vote, vote your conscience, not that of some Republican sycophant.

Creationism (as well as ID) isn't science

Yeah neither is love, but that doesn't mean they are not true facts.
