What kind of fifty year old who's supposed to be governor material doesn't handle their own finances? He's not a grownup unless his stops sunbathing and takes care of his own finances. I certainly don't want him delving into matters of finance when his daddy still handles his finances for him? Taxpayer dollars in the hands of a guy who has no home and doesn't take care of his own finances. Daddy does it!

I misguessed his age at 25 years older, and based on his behavior would have misguessed it 25 years younger. Hard to imagine NRA would think this guy is a gun slinging type. I suspect his mom wouldn't let him have a Daisy. Might shoot his eye out.
I suppose Wendy Murphy is aware of what is happening regardless.
I've heard this from three or four unfriendly posters. It makes no sense whatsoever. Must have come out of some liberal focus group.
The differences are night and day. Bob Schindler fought for his daughter's life and the enduring value of her life. Consistent with that, he now he speaks out against a candidate who was supposed to protect his daughter but refused.
In contrast, Cindy Sheehan speaks for Cindy Sheehan, not for her son. She actually exploits his death to advance her own political agenda. She uses his death to denounce the very cause he fought for and died for. By this, she denigrates her own son! Worse still, in calling for the U.S. to cut and run, she gives aid and comfort to the very enemy who killed her son.
The contrasts go on and on. Cindy Sheehan is a media creation, Bob Schindler is shunned by the media. Sheehan is a clown, Schindler is salt of the earth. Sheehan is a professional protester who shows up at demonstrations and sucks up to the likes of Hugo Chavez. Schindler is simply a dad.
To equate the two is demented.
Come to think of it, I sent her a birthday or get-well card, not a Christmas card. It had a picture of a big, silly elephant. I hoped it would make Haleigh smile :-)
It doesn't cost hundreds of thousands a year to provide me with food and water. I can get it myself, eat it myself and drink it myself and ask for more if I wish.

If you're going to advocate "triaging" people to death (or whatever euphemism you're using today), you at least owe them the courtesy of finding out who they are.

If you disagree so strongly with Jim Robinson's position on this, why don't you either avoid the subject, or move over to a forum full of liberals who agree with you? It should be easy for you to avoid a subject you claim you're not interested in. If JR considers his opinion to be a danger to his own forum, don't you think it's up to him to decide whether or not those who agree with him should be allowed to post that same opinion?
