Did Shep actually say Hezb is not a terrorist group ... they are an army???

Brit's been lurking here or is getting wind of the emails sent in complaint about Shep. Did you hear him say, now let's go to ***my friend Shepard Smith***...and he really emphasized the words "my friend"?.

He knows. He is trying to telegraph that we're wasting our time because he's the Managing Editor of the news and Shep's "his friend".

I absolutely live for Brit's newscasts and commentary, but I'll not be swayed one inch off of my anger and dismay at Shep's reporting. It's horrible and inexusable, Brit or no Brit.

Just noted thought that Fitzcarraldo posted a new post with the latest martyrs. Again mostly men in their 30s or early 40s. Only one in his twenties. I think that's significant. Losing their most experienced men.
...or you have to be above a specific rank to be given an obituary.

you know, i wonder if all this talk of an international force to patrol the border (if it is indeed a)that tough to put one together b) acceptable to the Israel/Lebanon) is not but a ploy to give IDF the time it needs to really clean house, village by village.

Look for another call up of reserves as an indicator of bigger/longer operations to come

Unless the IDF calls up a lot more reserves than previously reported (i've heard as few as only 4 combat regiments have been deployed to the border), i do not see a push north of the line from Tyre east to Beit Jbail.

That would be a southeast line actually. Tyre is a lot further north then Bent Jbail. At this rate it will take at least a month to conquer Southern Lebanon from Tyre straight east to the Golan Heights. This should be a lesson to Israelis. Never again give up conquered land.

The time to set up an international force is several months, so that is the answer to your question.

Of course, the kids he was interviewing had been in battle for 24 hours, and were just happy to be alive....Hezbollah is well trained, with a large number of soldiers having gone through the Iranian Army boot camps. Not like the kid who is just given an AK47 to fight for the PLO.
