This was a long article. Could CA send its illegal aliens to Arkdelphia? How about other states sending their illegal aliens to this city?
Most citizens, in Arkdelphia, seem to love illegal aliens.
Prosecutor in that city refused to help federal agents when the agents were investigating selling of social security cards to some illegals. Sheriff also refused to help the agents.
One lady sent money to one deported illegal in Mexico so that the latter could come back to Arkdelphia...(The money helped to pay for the smuggler's fee.)
The article quotes two people who were worried about illegal immigration. I get the impression that, unfortunately, they don't seem to represent the majority opinion in the city.
The article does quote one guy saying that the chicken processing factory does not offer good pay...The plant manager said that the average wage ranged from $8.50 to $9.50 per hour. The illegals stated that their starting pay was $6 per hour.
Read the same article in the Boston Globe. This is why the NYT, LAT and Boston Globe is losing readership. Who wants to subsidize propaganda that works against you. Illegal is illegal.
