I saw, was a little slow on the post... :)

I can't help getting the feeling Israel is putting out a feint with this heavily covered "massing" of forces.. not like them to advertise when they're getting ready to open a serious can of whoop ass...

I read back slowly through all the post this time... you're thinking is right on track with mine, except I was thinking using the river itself....

Too much noise being made about the small battalion sized groups, "reserves" being called up for limited actions. I don't think limited action is what either Israel or the US have in mind.

'Course, I'm probably wrong :)

They field a domestically produced tank named the Merkava. Generally considered a top shelf piece of kit. The Mark 3 and 4 versions are more advanced than any of the Russian style tanks that they're likely to run up against in their neighborhood. Their design is heavily focused on crew survivability.

My thoughts exactly about the UN official being a source.

Notice how the AP always states children were killed. Seems like the typical spin. The MSM propagana is the same always. It is always civilians are killed according to the MSM. Adding dead children to the story makes the writer seem so much more important to the left.

Now, I am curious about how these starving, dirt poor, and, highly misunderstood terrorists can afford spray paint? The MSM cannot sell me on their creative writing.

The media has lost all credibility. Anyone who believes any reporter's story based on hearsay and not actually having been at the scene is only a fool.

This reminds me of many years ago, when the press got their briefings from Saigon. Funny how the story always got twisted. Only those actually on the ground in the explosions and fire fights know the truth. From even 2,000 feet in the air- you have no idea what actually happened on the ground, except for radio transmissions. The real story would come from those who called in the air strikes, not from some UN official or any reporter.

Right now, Israeli Troopers are busting the hezzies upside the head. About a hundred hezzies killed.

reminds me of a song:
100 hezzy heads on the wall
100 hezzy's heads
turned around
kilt another
101 dead hezzy heads on the wall

Keep doing this until peace is obtained.

If Genghis Khan was running Israel's Military right now, I wonder what he would do?
How ever Genghis would do it, is the way I would suggest doing it.

Re #30

They would kill everybody in S. Lebanon, then set fire on every known buildings.

Mongols poured into Yenjing(now Beijing,) the Capital of Jurchen Chin. They killed everyone and set fire(maybe the other way around.) One year later, an Western monk was there. He reported that the road was slippery due to all human fat congeal on it. I suspect the fat came out of mountains of burning human bodies.

Mongols, Hulagu Khan's troops, also killed some 800K residents of Baghdad. It is interesting to note that those Mongols were also Muslims.

Mongols were superb warriors, but also worst terrorists in history. Jihadis do not stand a chance.
