"(Before Syria got pushed out from Lebanon (using Orange revolution technique) it was much easier to deal with Hezbollah through Syria."
Syria is a minor terrorist state who takes orders from Iran (the major terrorist state) on matters related to Hezzpussah. Hezzpussah is merely an extension of Iran's radical Islamist foreign policy.
I don't see your logical connection to controlling Hezzpussah by allowing Syria to militarily dictate to Lebanon. What is the difference? Hezzpussah will still be a terror proxy for Iran nontheless.

Israel bombs Lebanon much more that Shiites bomb Israel. And it was Israel who started bombing.
Christian areas in Lebanon are being bombed too.

Good, let's hope they bomb them so more and then bomb the rubble and then bomb the kids and keep it up for another five generations and finish it too.
Men who won't get off their rumps to get Hezbollah out of their country deserve whatever they get. Remember? "We make no distinction between terrorists and those who harbor them."

Men who won't get off their rumps to get Hezbollah out of their country deserve whatever they get. Hezbollah is the main organization of the largest ethnic/religious group in Lebanon much larger than its military wing. Lebanese Christians have no power to defeat them, not more than they had during long Lebanese civil war.
If the Israel cannot get Hamas out of the occupied territories, do you recommend bombing of Israel?

Is giving terrorists a launching pad an act of war?
To: A. Pole
I recommend bombing Hamas. And Lebanese Christians can fight Hezbollah or they can get the heck out. Their call. I also recommend American fascists, traitors, Russophiles, and Buchananites get off their own rumps and go stand in front of an Israeli armored column, and get what is coming to them.

I recommend bombing Hamas. Israel bombs Hamas every few days. And what are the results? Now, have you forgotten how Israel was supporting Hamas in order to undercut PLO? This was indeed a very smart policy /S
And Lebanese Christians can fight Hezbollah
There was a long civil war in Lebanon and Lebanese Christians were siding with Israel. What is their reward?

Is it necessary for Israel to bomb power stations, The Christian section of Beirut, The American University, various cars driving along the roads? I think Israel made a
big mistake: they should have started the attack with special forces insertions into terrorist areas along the
southern border of Lebanon. This would have stopped the rockets.

If this destruction of the Lebanese infrastructure continues, Christians will have no more hope for redeveloping Lebanon into tourist and financial center as it used to be. How many times can you try?
They will be forced to emigrate and Lebanon will become another impoverished backward Middle Eastern country. No more Cedar Revolutions

Necessary, sufficient, a pure consumption good, expedient, and everything else you please. There is no reason to pull the slightest punch, and if it makes life the slightest bit less convenient for terrorists, it is all gravy.
If those who harbor them or do nothing about them are also inconvenienced or worse, well, that's just a bonus.

It already was an improverished backward Middle Eastern country. And one ruled from Damascus as well.
Not to mention, poverty is not exactly the leading characteristic of most of the Middle East, which includes some of the wealthiest countries on the planet. War and stupidity are leading characteristics.

Their reward is they are still alive. That is all the reward anyone ever gets from defending themselves against nutjobs and tyrants. And they don't always get even that. Welcome to reality. If it bothers you, why not take up knitting?

Lebanon was not an impoverished country before the civil
war. It was, in fact, the first true democracy in the Middle
East. It was a center of finance and tourism,"The Jewel of
the Middle East": Half of Lebanon is Christian.Recently, since Syria was forced out, Lebanon was trying to return to it's former status. Now, that is all down the drain!
To: upcountryhorseman
Syria wasn't forced out, Hezbollah was running half the country and still listening to them and their own paymasters in Iran. And in distant times, money meant gold - so what? The people of Lebanon wrecked Lebanon all by themselves, by killing each other over triffles, and they have never repaired it. It'd be great if the Christians were still a majority and ruled Lebanon justly. But they aren't and they don't, and it isn't ruled at all. For which hell will always be paid, now or later, or generally both.
