Yes, we just got clued into this a little while ago. We knew something was up this morning when the IZ checkpoints went on high level security.

I'm happy for the troops - this has to be exciting for them.

His ending paragraph is key - no more prisoners. The egg-heads at SCOTUS thought they were stiking a blow for humanity when they pondered over how many rights an illegal combatant deserved. They were wrong. They shifted the balance from capture to kill. What commander is going to take prisoners knowing it will tie up troops giving depositions? Not a good one. No unit can afford to sacrifice firepower for placating attorneys. "Standing up" for terrorists' rights is really passing a death sentence on them. Those who do are our generation's "useful idiots".
