When in reality, we never lost a major battle during the Viet Nam war and we haven't lost one in Iraq.

I called my critters and a couple others, regarding the shackling of our troops with NO charges filed against them.

Newsflash: Murtha, although jerky in his opinion here, was not a 60s hippie but a Marine in 'Nam. The guy served America for 37 years, retiring from the Marine Corps Reserve as a colonel in 1990. Feel free to disagree with his opinion but I seriously doubt he "dreams of 60s hippy concerts" nor did he "cause is to lose Vietnam", as he was there fighting it.

I was proud to serve with some of the finest Marines the Corps has ever produced.

And you couldn't be prouder of the Marines that are serving in Iraq today. Some have two & three PH's and have made two & three tours and continue to request to be sent back with their units in Iraq.
That is why I find it unbelievable that these Marines committed cold blooded murder.

Time has already published 2 unobtrusive "corrections" to their reporting "errors", and blogs like Sweetness & Light have been busy filling in timelines, piecing together the puzzle, and exposing media ommissions.

FWIW, I'd trust this father's opinion over just about anyone in the MSM. You can't be imbedded in a unit with your son and not know what happened during missions such as the one conducted at Haditha.
