I am updating my bag of tricks.
Isn't that lovely news! A prayer and a cheer from all of us fanatical rabid right wingnut Terri-bots! (You have to present your best credentials to get through to Heaven on the first call :-) )
If that means attending a bioethics course at UPenn, don't even THINK about it.
God bless Mrs. Vo and family. Our prayers will be for them and her today.
There were approximately THIRTY organizations who filed briefs in defense of Terri's life.
Carla is fighting back against a system that you just simply wouldn't believe.
Cheryl Ford/Dr. Craddick's book Our Fight For Terri evidences the levels of corruption and the violations therein just in Terri's case.
Florida stands for fraud, fraud, fraud.
Crist failed to investigate Terri's Civil Rights. Now he wants to be the evil governor masquerading as a conservative republican. Real republicans DO NOT HELP MURDER PEOPLE. Crist is a RINO.
Is there any indication that the feds are going to open an investigation?
This is why I'm lvg the GOP after the September primary. Learning that the US Coast Guard was going to fly Terri to an undisclosed location after a weekend of long talks and that they cancelled it the day it was to take place was all I needed to know.
Even the feds abandoned her. There was still time the day after Easter. That was the second actual rescue in progress that was cancelled. The first was cancelled very early after the withdrawal of fluids and nutrition. I heard about the first one the exact time they turned around. Jeb Bush should have come down to Hospice Woodside to see how closely the media, vigilers and the leaders of Terri's Fight were in proximity. Nothing passed us by. Jeb's legacy contains Terri's death. It is unfortunate for Jeb that he didn't stand up to Judge Greer. If Jeb was told to stand down, it is unfortunate for the GOP which is full of RINOS at this time.
It was most unfortunate for Terri and her parents, et al.
I heard of the feds abandoning Terri a month after she had died.
I'm going to tell the truth here at FR.
I am the accidental tourist of the Terri Schiavo story, the bystander who ended up knowing exactly what happened. I'll lv it to others to write their books.
I'm just a freeper.
This post is worth copying, 8mmmauser and "all" noting it for future reference and for dissemination as it explains why Terri is no longer with us.

If the Congress cancelled the real rescue because they thought they could trust Judge Whittemore (friend of strip club king Joe Redner(Fla atheist & ACLU member) to actually do a de novo hearing. WERE THEY BEYOND STUPID.
Nonetheless, they could have thrown Judge Whittemore off the federal case because he was non-compliant but they didn't. The feds are still on the hook for Terri's death. They let renegade judges continue the suffering of Terri Schindler schiavo-means "slave".
I wonder if it's enough to impeach Greer that he refused State Auditor Melton's request to audit Pinellas-Pasco County's guardianship accountings. Seems to me that's an impeachable offense. Greer is hiding so many things. How can they let a criminal sit on the bench? Somebody should have stopped him before Terri was murdered.
I suppose that Ron Panzer will cover this too at the hospice patients alliance.

Tom Gallagher for Governor of Florida www.tg2006.com (Gallagher's gaining momentum - the polls are just as unbelievable as they were when the question was about Terri's right to live.)
Ping to post #1312...
I do love how these people claim that the others start name calling when they have no proof, and like-wise claiming they are innocent of doing such a thing, when I know better. I read their name calling comments. Are they trying to say that we are all on drugs or delusional and they are the only sane kid on the forum? I do wonder.
I read some comments today that are alleged to be on a forum. Comments that are saying that the autopsy report says Terri Schiavo was brain dead at the time the feeding tube was removed. Excuse me, but the autopsy does not say that. Doesn't matter. By presenting a falsehood as truth, they are (or appear to be) attempting to gain support through deceit. After all, brain dead is an absolute and the body is being kept alive "solely" by machines. (If this were the case for Terri, she would have passed the minute the feeding tube was removed.) I think I can be pretty sure there aren't many people who would insist on keeping life support going on a person proven to be brain dead. That's the point. Give the audience the lie that will convince them.

Terri on the road to recovery before the second stage began.

From NewsMax: "The American Medical Association is troubled by continuous refusal of many state courts and legislatures to acknowledge the ethical obligations of physicians, which strictly prohibit physician involvement in a legally authorized execution," he said in a statement. "The AMA's policy is clear and unambiguous - requiring physicians to participate in executions violates their oath to protect lives and erodes public confidence in the medical profession. "A physician is a member of a profession dedicated to preserving life when there is hope of doing so. The use of a physician's clinical skill and judgment for purposes other than promoting an individual's health and welfare undermines a basic ethical foundation of medicine - first, do no harm." American Medical Association President Dr. William G. Plested said Monday that medical professionals should not participate in executions of prisoners.
Danny Carlton comments: Funny, they don't seem to have a problem with the wholesale slaughter of millions of unborn children, nor the protracted, doctor-assisted torture and murder of Terri Schiavo. They are only concerned about the execution of criminals who've received more judication than anyone else in the world and have still been ruled worthy of death.

When we first looked at the story (April?), it was really touch and go and not hopeful at all. But Mrs. Vo is still with us, bless her heart. May she get better every day.
