That's pretty cheap. In FL you can find a decent home in most of the state without paying a king's ransom like you do in the Northeast and CA. But you may get socked with a property tax/homeowner's insurance tab you don't like. Do your homework first.

"Do your homework first."....Too late, been here 28 years...When I first came here things were ok...by the time sold first house in Lighthouse Point, taxes were more than mtg.pymt. That was when you could still buy insurance. I could go on and on, but insurance is the factor that's gonna 'kill' Florida...unless we can "go Socialist" and make those rich folks in California 'share the risk'...LOL! ;^)

Never buy anyplace where there is a homeowners association. They always attract power hungry types who want to control other people to run for office. There's no end to the number of ways they can cook up to spend your money and make your life miserable.
