What the hell ever happened to that recall petition in Arizona a few years ago? There were too few signatures.
As soon as this bill gets out of conference committee and gets put into law. The immigration issue will drop from the news totally.
Nothing much is going to change. Nothing much is going to happen.
It is like it was in the 80s a big deal. They passed a worthless law and we forgot about it for another 20 years.
Get used to it. It is gonna happen again.

>>>>fait accompli.... S.2611 is accomplished, but its not the law of the land and might never be. There is still the joint session with the House and HR 4437. Frankly, there is no guarantee the House wants to sitdown with the Senate and hash this out. Speaker Hastert has said, if he can't get a majority of the majority to go along with negotiation efforts, this deal just might be, DOA.

This bill has been drafted for a long time awaiting the right time to introduce it. These things take time to prepare. Who actually created the bill? It obviously was prepared with much thought in advance.

It's time to get rid of Craig.

Of course PresBush has been slowing driving for guest worker amnesty since he took office. The original S.2611 came down April 7 2006. The first amendment to S.2611 was introduced on May 15 2006. The Senate immigration reform proposal has been called McCain-Kennedy and Hagel-Martinez. The House version HR4437 was passed through a floor vote last December 2005, 239-182, 92% of Republicans supporting and 82% of Democrats opposing.
If there is a Congressional conference committee, this joint session of Senate and House members will attempt to create a compromise proposal between a liberal guest worker amnesty proposal (S.2611) and an enforcement only proposal (HR4437).
Frankly, I don't think there will be any bill this year for Bush to sign.

NOT ANOTHER DOLLAR Are you sure your dollar will be missed?
From Yahoo News: After the April filing, the RNC is reporting over $44 million cash-on-hand and has received contributions from over 112,000 first-time donors in 2006.

God's teeth!!!
He's right. This is far worse than I even imagined, and I didn't like it from the start.
The Republican senators who voted for this thing are scum as far as I'm concerned.
Major Kudos to Sessions for throwing it right back in their lying faces.

It has become clearly apparent that now is the time for all FReeper and patriotic Americans to launch a full-scale assault on the RINO'S that voted in favor of selling out our Constitution, Bill of Rights, our Freedom. They have literally crapped on the graves and the memories of those brave Americans that made the ultimate sacrifice in our quest for our great nation.
The time has come to take our fight to the streets with major peaceful protests. Take the day off work, make small sacrifices now or large ones later. If we don't vote every one of these bastards out of office we will become a third world nation with a third world economy riddled with even greater corruption than exists today.

And following that line of logic, the conspiratorialist in me wonders if that doesn't have some connection to the ABC new false story regarding Hastert. Oh well....enough of this....I think the X-Files is coming on!
