Anyone who hires a contractor these days is in danger of finding himself aiding and abetting in the trafficking of black market labor. I suspect it has happened to me--I contract with a "licensed, bonded, insured" contractor and he shows up with a crew that can't speak English. I don't know they're illegal, I just suspect it. Now, when I need something done, I make sure and spell it out to a contractor that "licensed, bonded, insured, and either citizens or legal resident aliens."
Trouble is, I know that a contractor who wants to be honest is at a competitive disadvantage.
I wonder what would happen if a certain professor was done out of his job by a competitor with phoney credentials? Wouldn't he squawk and squeak, and expect the law to be enforced? But what if he's a white, Anglo professor and his competitor a minority who can't speak English?
Let's remember, and be sure to call him a racist.
You're no conservative. You want to start a witch hunt. I had to tell you this twice because you are such a braniac.
If the woman's race doesn't matter, then I guess you'll be wanting to know the origins of all the President's cooks, housekeepers, butlers, etc., even those without brownish skin.
Let the inquisitions begin!
Oh, yeah, the use of the caps lock key was a nice touch, especially coming from someone who cares so little about what I had to say. (snicker)

As if.
So, can I assume you also want to start some big investigation into this Mexican American housekeeper?
Reading your posts, it's as if Pinky and the Brain decided to become Freepers.
I've read some of your posts, notes2005, and it seems you can't stand Bush. Is that right?
You're always on the side against President Bush... why is that?
If you ever decide to address what was actually written (and how could you win an argument that way? Even with edu grad students?), you'd see that this business of being led by sentimentality toward servants is a cultural disconnect.
Most of us don't have servants, nor can we afford leaders to sell out our interests so they can feel good about being cleaned up after.
I want the WH to come out and say that this woman came into the country legally.
If the woman's race doesn't matter, then I guess you'll be wanting to know the origins of all the President's cooks, housekeepers, butlers, etc., even those without brownish skin.
Only if they were not born in this country and came here under questionable circumstances. And not just household help, either. It's about not class or race.
Hyperbole much?
Is she a DEMOCRAT?...
