he's going to a super max prison..automatic solitary for however long he lives..no mixing with others, 23 hours a day in a cell, meals in a cell and exercise one hour a day by himself..in other words, unless someone can get to him behind those bars, he'll live a long time..

I hope so, I wish so much that would happen. This is VERY upsetting!

Sorry here friend, but just as this thread is not about immigration this thread is not about abortion. Is it too much to ask to have this thread be about TERRORISM AND THE PUNISHMENT FOR IT

No disrespect meant friend, but please take the abortion topic to another thread...at least this time.

Hello,

Perhaps that will happen. And then there will a MAJOR investigation into it. And there will be millions of Americans that will cry over his death. I don't like to admit that, but truth is truth. We do not, I fear, have the will to do what must be done to win the WOT. I hope that I am wrong...

Glad to be here, MOgirl

OK, if true, that makes me feel somewhat better.

BTW, love your tagline! Who knew cavemen were still around?

Yet again you show that you equate lack of perfection to total failure and use that as a reason for inaction. Do you apply this stadard to your entire life?

Excellent analysis of the consequences of this jury finding. John Gibson had an expert on who basically said that these jihadists will now believe that the impact on them personally for terrorism is that almost nobody who is considered marginal in their attacks will have to worry about the death penalty. I think the impact of this jury decision is that long term it will facilitate the jihadists in recruiting terrorist for further attacks on the United States. Short term, we can be grateful that George Bush is still President and strong on defending America. The same can not be said for those in this country who are conflicted on what it takes to defend this country. That would include the RATS and their party agenda of overthrowing our President.

Peach I just love those binary questions that you are fond of. Yes/no- but even better, if you are not with us you are with the terrorists. The ultimate great question.

Ok you're right. I will stop posting in this thread and start my own death penalty debate thread.

I can understand how this thread could evolve into a death penalty debate since the death penalty was an option in this particular trial. However, I'm sure there are others who are just now logging on and want to discuss the Moussaoui verdict and not have to read through other comments that aren't directly related to it.

Thank you for posting nicely. We'll see you 'round the threads.

He will likely be murdered in prison, unless he hooks up with a gang of like minded animals who converted to Islam behind bars.

The President ought to announce he'll pardon anyone who kills John Walker Lindh or Moussaoui for all crimes committed.

Life in the general population is probably better than 20 years on death row. Is there a Vegas line yet for how long he lasts? My bet would be less than twelve months.

Right Chena, and with this example today we see that they indeed are succeeding in not allowing punishments that fit the crimes.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of them. He'll be their hero.
