Have fun...unfortunately I can't make Monday during working hours.
Bummer. I love these things!
BUMP.
Please see comment #100.
I think I can make it. About 90% sure.
Thanks for the notification. Gives me time to make plans.
ATTENTION, PLEASE READ:9/11 Families for a Secure America is holding a similar rally at Lafayette Park on Monday, April 24 at 10 a.m. We spoke today and decided to fold our rallies into one on Monday at Lafayette Park. I know this will inconvenience a few people, but I believe it is better to have one event rather than diffusing our efforts.
I'll still be there on the Mall on Sunday to explain things to those who don't get the word.
We'll be contacting those who offered to help to return their contributions. No vendor contracts have been signed so there's no issue of deposits.
Again, I apologize, but I am glad to stand aside (and with) the 9/11 Families for a Secure America.
I'll ping and respond to those who committed to attend on Sunday when I get home tonight.

I personally think it's a great idea to have this close to the White House and with another group. While we are not protestesting the President we are protesting the lack of his action to secure our borders.
Will try and be there.
Bump for further exposure.
Thank you for understanding. I hope you can be there Monday.
Hope to see you Monday. If not then, maybe the following Saturday for the WH Correspondence Dinner freep on the 29th.
Please see my comment at #100 for my explanation for postponing the rally one day. My apologies if this puts you in a bind.

Where is Layfayette Park? Near the Mall? Can I find it on a internet map for directions? Does the Metro let off near there?

I better stop now.
16th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. Nearest Metro station is McPherson Square on the Orange and Blue lines. It puts one or two blocks from the park, which is in front of the White House.
OK!
