Sept. 30, 2003: "There are too many leaks of classified information in Washington.
And if there's a leak out of the administration, I want to know who it is.
Uh-oh. Looks like everybody finally knows who the leaker is.

DemocRATS and their allies in the liberal MSM are going kadikandoo over nothing. Information from the National Intelligence Estimate was released under the authority of the President of the United States as part of the war effort in 2003. That was almost three years ago.

Isn't the entire investigation a sideshow?

if President Bush authorized it, then there was no leak. Therefore there was no crime, and Fitzgerald's witch hunt should be shut down. End of story.
Tonight Oberman showed the famous clip of the President saying he wanted to get to the bottom of the leaks (taking it out of context) and then he and his MSM pal basically accused President Bush of lying through his teeth. Makes my blood boil.

The "leak" question: it's so simply my 6th grade daughter can understand it. And, yet, journalists cannot. A "leak" is an unauthorized release of otherwise unreported information. The President is authorized to release this information.
It's not a "leak." So there can be no rational charge of hypocrisy. And Chuck Schumer is a schmuck.
