"They have ALL been here for 5 years. Even the hoards headed toward the border now."
And even the ones in Mexico sitting down to lunch right now.. the word is out, '5 years muchachos'.

"My prediction: Ten million more illegals flooding across the unsecured border in the next few years."
At least 10 million, and there will be little or no enforcement.....just like now.
BK's?
Yep. First will be California, then Arizona.

This is only acceptable if we seal our borders first so that we can actually control whether these invaders come back in later. That's exactly what I think. I'm OK with the idea of a "guest worker" program, but we need to stop the sieve at the border as well.

This isn't a "deal", it's a sellout. I'm not even confident anymore the House is going to stop it.

I will not switch to this party, even though I agree with many of its positions.Even if you don't want to actually join them, what about simply voting for them? They won't take your religious freedom away, I can pretty much guarantee that.

I am all in favor of a proud and unwavering fealty to G-d in the same way expressed by the Declaration of Independence and in many other founding documents and speeches. I a quite uncomfortable with the very specific reference to the Christian saviour as it is a very parochial reference that must, perforce leave me and many Jewish people and people of other religions out of the picture.
I also wish the Constitution Party's platform was based on just a devotion to God, just as our founding fathers did with our Constituion, etc. They'd be a great party to join and could gain a lot of momentum right now if they didn't leave out so many of different faiths.

"Any suggestions about something similar as an alternative, even if it exists as a protest movement against the Republican party to bring it back to its senses?"
Unfortunatly not. But shortly someone will come along and offer you the Reform Party with Ross Perot as the example of the "peril" of voting 3rd party.
(Never mind a lot of Reform Party people voted Bush II after 8 years of Clinton)

How many votes have been taken?
ZERO! That's reality! On that you're absolutely right.
This bill can still be killed with 'poison pill' amendments.

I hope you are right -- but I have zero confidence the House will hold firm. Boehner, who replaced DeLay, voted against the Sensenbrenner bill the first time (one of 17 GOPers to do so) and Hastert has said he's for guest worker programs. If the White House pushes, I doubt more than 80 of the GOP folks will hold firm. I hope you are right and I am wrong, believe me!
And I worked to get a conservative majority. My first vote in 1976 was for Reagan in the Reagan-Ford primary -- I didn't join the GOP to side with the Fords of the world! Right now if there was an even half-way viable third party, I'd join it.

This is wrong.
Nothing is fixed by this and it only encourages people to do wrong.
We will still likely have cities that refuse to enforce immigration policies and crime will not be lowered.
People won't go home who are supposed to go home and fake documentation will reign.
This is just wrong.

To hell with what the leftists do or think.
We have spent far too much time and energy watching them when, based on this betrayal, we should have been watching our own.
Our war is now with our own party.

Deport the newbies. Make the others become citizens, Stop anymore traffic. You know, if I really thought that's what would happen, I'd accept it. But I honestly have about zero faith in that. All the talk we've heard is regarding the "amnesty" issue. Forget that for a moment -- on what basis should we assume they really are stopping that additional traffic? Exactly how does this bill guarantee -- or even give us a reasonable basis to believe -- that illegal immigration will stop? I don't see it.
Unlike most others here, I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that most of the ones currently here will get to stay. Logistically, legally, politically, and everything else, forced massed extradition just isn't going to happen. But if that's the case, they've got to ensure that we've capped the problem by capping future illegal immigration. And what in this new bill truly promises that?
