I'd love to see a "secure the border rally" to counter the 3rd World Supremacists.
OK, GWB. These people are firing a warning shot across your bow. Are you going to defend this country or not?
Trust me folks. The libs keep trying to make Iraq the albatross around W's neck. Blinded by their hate for Bush. Illegal aliens will be the deal breaking issue, and they could ride it back to majority party status if they weren't wacko about Bush.
This is just plain depressing. These SOBs (congress) are selling us out, and our country out from underneath us.
I think it is already to late to reverse this!
That is less than half the illegal Mexican population of Los Angles. The others were raiding the homes of the those that weren't in the protest.
But, Hey, I'd protest as well if you tried to take my job, healthcare, and education from me even if I don't deserve it. Those people know that if sent back to Mexico they will be back in poverty again. So why not protest.
To bad ICE wasn't there. But then again they don't have jails large enough in LA to house all the illegals.
They want to stay here but they wave the MEXICAN flag. If Mexico is so great, what are you doing here? If you want to be an American, why aren't you waving the American flag?
Incredible. AND Bush wants more of this...
I'm ready to kick every incumbent out of office...
Disgusting. They have the right to leave if they are uninvited. What other rights do think they have after breaking into our country. Yes, illegals did indeed break in knowing that it was against our laws. A country that cannot maintain its borders is a country that is ripe for invasion and future non-existence.
Most of them have houses and cars and bank accounts and plasma tvs.
So what. They were given a letter by ICE to settle their affairs and show up at court to be deported. The so-called 'run' letter. They were given notice.
They should be sent home now. "what about my house an car?" You were given a letter telling you to get your stuff in order. You've had plenty of time. It will be sold at police aution and used to settle your account.
What's so ironic...when they shouted 'Freedom isn't just for Americans, we demand human rights, etc.' Mexico's already said publicly that they're 'integrating' with the US and there's nothing we can do about it...this with a smirk. Life is good for Fox and pals. It's so much easier to export the bottom half of your population, why bother educating them, giving them jobs and a chance for a decent life when you can toss them over the border and get nine or ten billion a year in remittances. How great is that! Well, a recent poll suggests that half of everyone left in Mexico is packing. That's the middle class, folks, and when they're gone, the country collapses. What will Bush do then? Present the US voter with the fait d'accompli...that Mexico is the fifty-first state?
Ping for later reading
Pretty harsh words coming for a Sunday morning but G**AMN all of you politicians for selling us down the river.
Can anyone explain something to me? These people left the craphole country of Mexico because they couldn't find jobs or something. Hence the cry of, "We just want to work!" Now when they come to the US, they protest in the land of plenty. So somebody explain to me why there aren't protests like this is Mexico over how crappy it is?
I don't think any of this is about anything they say it is. I think it is really about the things that are not reported, when Mecha-types talk about how "anyone of European descent has been illegally in the U.S. since 1492." (The idiocy of that statement coming from a descendent of Spaniards amazes me.) I think it all has to do with the Reconquista and not much to do with actual jobs. If it was just jobs they were protesting over then they could do it in Mexico. Or would the Mexican police just shoot them?
What I can't understand, is the fact that many of these people are waving mexican flags and chanting "mexico". Why are they showing loyalty and support for the country they are trying to make it easier from which to escape? How about showing a little bit of loyalty to the country that you have chosen to live in? The country that has served as their oasis from the 3rd world mexican hell-hole from which they came.
Protest March
Los Angeles City Hall
Civic Center
Saturday, March 25, 2006
TIME: 9:07 AM
INCIDENT #: 307
On Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 9:07 a.m., thirteen Companies of Los
Angeles Firefighters, twenty LAFD Rescue Ambulances, one Deputy Chief,
four Battalion Chief Officer Command Teams, one Assistant Chief Officer
Command Team, four Battalion EMS Captains, a number of Fire Inspectors,
two Helicopters for observation, and other LAFD resources under the
direction of Deputy Chief Mario Rueda were dispatched and operated
under a unified command with the Los Angeles Police Department and other
Local, State and Federal Agencies, to provide assistance to protesters
during a march that started approximately two miles south of downtown
Los Angeles on Olympic Boulevard terminating at Los Angeles City Hall.
The protestors proceeded from various locations to Los Angeles City
Hall's South Lawn and it is estimated that more than "450,000"
individuals participated in the march. Over one hundred and twenty Los
Angeles Firefighters and Paramedics were located along the protest route
to City Hall and at City Hall as a pro-active measure to help facilitate
protester and organizers with any medical emergencies that may arise,
help marchers safely reach their destination and leave the impacted area
without incident. A minor scuffle broke out between opposing groups,
but the situation was quickly brought under control by the Los Angeles
Police Department. As the peaceful event progressed throughout the
afternoon and the impacted area expanded, the Los Angeles Fire
Department assisted five to ten individuals with medical needs ranging
from difficult reparations to minor physical injuries; none of the
injuries were reported to be life threatening. The exact number of
people treated and/or transported is still being tabulated. The event
concluded in approximately seven hours and thirty-six minutes and there
were no Firefighter injuries.
