Isn't there something more meaningful that these idiots can be doing for their constituencies?

Apparently not. The best they can do is divert attention of their own failures by throwing the proverbial "garbage" against the wall and hoping it will stick.

I don't ever agree with MCCain, but in his last rant I do....

This is another election year, it happens about every 2 years, and the slobs come out of the woodwork, this is why I'm sooooo in favor of term limits....they sit there in WDC and take from the Jack Abhams of the world, and you never hear a peep out of them, then comes election year, and these creeps come crawling out from all over...makes me sick...

Who ever elected this idiot along with the rest of the idiots is beyond me....I didn't vote for specter cause he's a RINO, I voted for Toomey...and I don't know about the other idiot in this State, he's as bad as specter...

But for these creeps to start on an election year to build up the volume on 'impeach the President, or whatever they want to do' is beyond me....they need to be thrown out of office and in the closest ocean they reside by...

Lets all support our President during this time of war, and let our boys and girls over there know we are behind them and the next time you go to vote, think about what creep your voting for....

The MSM just loves reporting on republican failed marriages, here's the scoop on Feingold:

"Feingold has been married twice, to Sue Levine and Mary Speerschneider. Russ and Sue Feingold married in 1977 and had two children, Jessica and Ellen, before divorcing nine years later. Russ married Mary Speerschneider (also previously divorced) on January 20, 1991. Mary (née Erpenbach) had previously been married to Timm Speerschneider, a Madison attorney, with whom she had two children: Sam and Ted. On April 11, 2005, Russ and Mary Feingold jointly announced that they would be seeking a divorce."

He says, "This is much more serious than anything Clinton ever did..."

It's all about getting back at the Republicans for impeaching Clinton. They never got over it. The Democrats are nothing but a bunch of bitter, spiteful, vengeful, stuck on stupid people there are. They have absolutely no positive constructive vision for America. And just think, half of America actually thinks this way! If the Democrats win the House, and possibly the Senate in 2006, the terrorists and enemies of America are going to be elated!

This guy reminds me of a door to door salesman who sold me a set of encyclopedias about 45 years ago. What a bunch of garbage it was. I think I learned something from that experience.

Why, he is a Republican, isn't that criminal enough?!!!

I had not had my coffee quota when I presented my question. Thank you for correcting my error in logic. ;*)

Somewhere out there, there must be an audience for this petty political backbiting; but, I just don't get it.

It appears that FR is a pretty good audience for it these days. I am with you...I don't get it either.

"And that will be the downfall of the Dems."

I hope you are right, but since the msm is on the same side as the Dems, I'm not so sure it's gonna have the same negative impact for the Dems as is did the Republicans back then. I think the main reason for Bush's low poll numbers is because of the constant lies and attacks, not only from the Dems, but from the msm too. True, Bush has made a few missteps that didn't help himself, but with the Dems and the msm both attacking, it may not have the same negative impact on the Dems as it did for the Republicans back then. I hope I am wrong.

Democrats are increasingly desperate as the mid-term elections near. The Democrat Party, known by many as the Democrat/Socialist Party, is in serious decline.

Democrats have lost election after election at all levels of local, state and national office. Money has dried up except from wealthy socialists, special interest groups, and foreign sources. Voters have fled the party in droves and the undecided are even more undecided.

Most significantly, a once great party who had the luxury of picking from among political giants to run for high office must now settle for the strongest of the weak.

For the 08 presidential election Democrats have no one of statue to offer. Their best potential is Hillary Clinton, a mousey little 60s Marxists whose meanness is equaled only by her inability to speak clearly, ya know, ya know. Their next best hope is John Kerry. The thought that his wife, Theresa Hinze, as First Lady kills that hope.

Democrat candidates must campaign as if they support the system they want to tear down. They must try and sell an "image" of moderation. They cannot come right out and campaign on the party platform because it is almost a duplicate of the Communist Manifesto.

The Democrat's brightest hope is that Republicans have never been able to campaign well. They are the wimps of the political world, unable to articulate what they claim to stand for.

Other bad news for Democrats is that the economy is doing well, employment is at record heights, and the war is really not an issue because it would be no different if the Democrats were in power. Foreign policy is set by factors political parties have very little to do with.

As Senator Russ Finegold demonstrates, the only course for Democrats to take is manacling, character assassination, dirt and diversion.

It might work.
