Are you aware that the United Arab Emirates, of which Dubai is of course a member, has been one of the biggest contributors to the Al Aqsa Intifada Fund?

So why did Zim, an Israeli shipping company, endorse this port deal today?

This is not personal, Flux. It's just business.

The only thing that will turn these poll numbers around is for there it to be dragged out, let all the press and everyone else interested look into this company, and for them to find not one single credible specific allegation of misdeeds by this company.

Well then. Are you aware that DP World is controlled by Ofer Brothers Group? Did you also know that Zim Intergrated Shipping is also controlled by Ofer Brothers? Zim gave the all clear on their own company. If you poke around these businesses do you know what name continually comes up? Particularly Umar, Raleh, Khaled What do those three names have in common...bin laden is their last name.

----That you engage in cheap demagoguery is no surprise to anybody.----

Sorry, Sinky, I guess I just haven't reached the level of political maturity that can proudly deduce from polling information that 70% of all Americans are racists. :)

I don't think you understand. When we are talking about this company we are necessarily talking about the government that owns it.

Bush would be at about 45-46% approval. Not great, but it's not 39% either.

And what % of the independents are actually Rats too ashamed to admit it? My guess would be at least half.

Inspite of what the terrorist sympathizers will regurgitate, it's ok to want to protect our ports from muslim terrorists.

Again, fine generalities. But this is capitalism -- we do this business with Communist China, too.

Are you aware of any specific event in which this company made any port unsafe, ever?

I don't think *you* understand.

In capitalism, we do business with Communist China. Do you know what that govt does with the money we give them?

This is business. And as a business deal, if it is good for America, we do it. If it keeps our ports safe and operating cheaply, we do the deal.

Now, do you have any specific, credible information suggesting this company made any port unsafe, ever?

Are you aware that the government of Dubai OWNS this company?

Are you aware the Government of The United States OWNS the Navy that is leasing port terminals in Dubai. If they pass the same law no foriegn leases or interest in their ports the Navy will have to leave. the Navy is not going to sail half way around the world to a port with no terminal lease.

You've made your position abundantly clear. If you oppose this deal, you're a racist.

Listen, you have only offered reasons against the deal based on WIDE SWEEPING GENERALIZATIONS of over a billion people. Yes I would say that if that is your only reason for being against the deal, you are a racist. I did try several times to get another REAL reason from you.

You've also made it clear that you consider those who oppose Islam to be racists.

Thats funny, 'cause I'm a 25yr old white guy, Roman Catholic (12yrs of private school), college degree, grew up in tinytown Pennsylvania.

Not exactly the crazy CAIR loving nutjob you might find in Michigan but I do find it amusing how you see my argument as some out-of-control ractionary defense of Islam... probably some more projection going on. (If I'm calling you racist, I must be 'one of them')

If America and the western world follows your thinking, it is doomed.

Please explain to me how it makes strategic sense to make enemies of over a billion people, as you are advocating?

I guess this only proves that a majority of the American people (as well as congresspeople and senators) don't have the faintest idea of what the hell they are talking about.

This is nothing more than a ship brings cargo in and it is transhipped via rail or truck. It's a terminal people! It is the same as FedEx terminal in Memphis, planes brings in cargo, it gets sorted and transhipped. That's all.

I find it interesting that you are the one here flinging racial epithets.

So, you have some specific, credible evidence that this company has endangered the security of a port?

You don't have to "deduce" it. They admit it.

Maybe you can help me.

Do you have any credible evidence that this company has endangered the security of any ports in the past?
