Friday.....not much...most Senators (especially dems) probably beat it out of town...so they can avoid the Censure Hearing...

I totally forgot .. that was scheduled for today

turned over to Laura Ingraham's show a few minutes ago after the Censure hearing was over..and she is almost RABID in her anger with Bush and any Congress person that isn't totally for a "shut the border with a fence, ship them all back" approach to the problem

I've noticed a number of radio folks doing that

I just turned them off .. they give me a headache

No...but I would guess this evening sometime...at least I hope so...I missed a bit while babysitting today.

There was a live thread...do you want me to ping you to it??

Peach did her usual dynamite transcribing of the hearing..so you could get some feel of how it went.

That describes Ingraham to a "T." Her condescension rivals Coulter's, without the good vocabulary.

I am glad someone besides me feels that way...

Actually, I have been thinking for a while now...that Laura's and Hannity's and other talk show hosts that have just continually harped on the subject for a few years now..are the ones that help spur a lot of the HATEFUL rhetoric that is seen here on FR.

Glad I'm not the only one who notices this. The only talk shows I listen to besides Rush are Tony Snow on occasion, rarely Bill Bennett, and always Micheal Medved.

It's replaying now on C-SPAN2. Been through Specter, Leahy, Feingold, Hatch, Sessions, and now Grahm staring up (opening statements). Hasn't progressed to questioning the panel.

Michaed Medved goes WAY out of his way to be very fair to all callers, but will let the looney ones talk just long enough to reinforce their looniness...so great!!

Recent news reports: http://msnbc.msn.com/id/12099092/

John Cornyn, a Republican senator from Texas and a Bush loyalist, denounced censure as "completely without merit", and said he was ambivalent about the hearings. He criticised the committee for inviting Mr Dean, who is "selling a book and is a convicted felon. It strikes me as odd that the committee is giving time to...?[him] as part of their marketing effort."

Mr Dean defended his presence, noting that it was important that the committee "sometimes hears from the dark side".

"I probably have more experience first hand than anyone might want about how a president can get on the wrong side of the law. I'm not here to sell a book today...?the [new] book won't be out until the summer," he said.

Before Mr Dean spoke, Mr Cornyn left the room, prompting Mr Feingold to accuse him of a "hit and run". However, Lindsey Graham, Republican senator for South Carolina, took up the baton, engaging in a rapid-fire prosecutorial exchange with Mr Dean that appeared to seek to re-investigate Watergate. "Did Nixon know about it? Did he cover up a crime?" he asked.
