Thanks Marvin.
That source is excellent, it is part of the curriculum we've discussed. BTW I hope you received that freepmail about the web address for accessing it to read? I'm looking forward to your much valued critique.

"1. Human life begins at contraception "
Is this a really good Freudian slip, or merely a typo? ;-D

You want my take? OK.
I don't believe that a fertilized egg is a human.
I don't believe that 256 cells are human. I shed this when I scratch an itch.
I do think that folks who forbid condoms, or other birth control methods, are nuts. Scientologist nuts.
When does life begin? I am not sure, but it does not involve cells, IMO. Hard question, but I'll go with the pope innocence for now. Has to be kicking. His words, not mine.

"I don't believe that 256 cells are human. I shed this when I scratch an itch."
Those skin cells that slough off when you scratch only contain your genes. The 256 fertilized cells contain genes from both parents and are undergoing a much different replication process. The DNA "grow a human" program is actively creating a human being by diversification of cell types. The DNA in your skin cells are just running the "skin cell" program. There is a huge difference.
