I see more of a security threat with the UN being located in NYC, not to mention all the embassies

And that is the crux of the problem here. If Bush would explain things thoroughly he wouldn't have to play catch up 2 weeks later all the time. Snow is dead on. I have been hearing conflicting stories by the likes of Hannity, King, Savage and more. In my opinion Snow is handling it better.
Exactly.....I get so frustrated defending this administration when they don't...by the time they come out on an issue, it's usually too late and the damage is done...

FrontPage magazine is a leftist organization? In my list of links about the relationship between Saddam and Al Qaeda, their organizations is featured pretty prominently as doing some good investigative work that actually proves the relationship.

What makes Tony Snow an expert on security? Probably 90% of those serving in Congress and the White house would fail to qualify for a security clearance if they were privates in the military. Those standards are high. A speeding ticket would have disqualified one from getting a top secret clearance when I was in the army. It seems the standard has been lowered in the past thirty years.

Some day, before I die, I want to see Republicans get out in front of an issue and play offense and actually learn to frame the debate.
How many times have we discussed this very problem?....grrrrrrrr!

I wish they would hire Tony. But a) Tony wouldn't take the pay cut and b) as TXSleuth pointed out when I made the same suggestion yesterday, Tony probably educates more people who count from the confines of his radio show. I just wish he'd recommend someone to the WH.

One of my systemic pet peeves as an engineer (and perhaps one of the reasons that I'm a dead failure at "politics" at ANY level)is people who take a position on a topic based on an opinion, seek out other opinions which support that position and present the result as fact.
Makes me absolutely glow in the dark and throw things.

DPW is helping the US NAVY? Does these MORONS in DC know that? That goes into the "stuff that GWB knows that he can/could not tell us" file. I'm glad Tony is telling us, but I still need more to feel better about this.

It's frustrating beyond belief. I know this president doesn't make decisions based on polls, and that's a good thing, but he should at least pay attention to how an issue is framed and make sure that Republican Congressmen understand the issues.
Freepers could issue better talking points.
