Anyway, Jews are the polar opposite of muslims and arabs. So what's not to like about them?

In that Arabs are Semites (in the linguistic and Biblical meanings of the word), they are hardly "the polar opposite" of Jews. Also, you're now an admitted anti-Semite. But since the Semites in question are Arabs, that won't bother you.

And I absolutely did not say anything about the Inquisition's "good name." That's another one of your total fabrications.

You're right. You never used the words "good name" before. But you did say that Spain's 350+ year-long persecution of the Jews was "an afterthought".

And you said "It was during that reconquista that much of Europe, not just Spain, came to the conclusion that social harmony could only be had if there was religious conformity in society." And so Spain expelled its Jews and killed those who did not leave or convert.

And the Reconquista that you started all this? You said it was "the best approach" to take against Muslim terrorism.

Nor did I dismiss the murder of Jews during the Inquisition. That, and the continued persecution of Jews down through history by many different cultures, is one of history's greatest and most unforgivable crimes, and I've said so.

You have now, and your historical honesty in this case in commendable. And if you left it there, I'd leave this matter be. But then you go and write this:

Finally, yes, I do blame muslims for the Spanish Inquisition. Their 800 years of continual satanic butchery created an unprecedented xenophobia amongst Spaniards that spilled over and victimized nearly everyone who wasn't Spanish and nearly everyone who wasn't Catholic, most particularly, the Jews. That's not a dismissal, but an affirmation of Jewish suffering during the Inquisition and an assignment of blame squarely where it belongs: on Satan's army of demons, the muslims.

And what that says is that you don't hold the Inquisitors, executioners and anti-Semites in Spain responsible for 350+ year-long official policy of driving Jews off the land and killing those who remained. It wasn't their fault because the Muslims of the 15th century made each and every Spaniard who took part in the Inquisition so "xenophobic" that they still tortured and killed Jews--even hunting them down in Spain's American colonies--because of some Muslims that their great-grandparents had never seen.

You sir, are ignoring the real murderers and shifting the blame to some long-ago bogeyman. For you, the murderers in Spain were "just following orders" from people they hated. Because they were "xenophobic."

You seem to be just as "xenophobic" as the average 16th century Spaniard. You certainly hate Arabs and Muslims. Does that give you license to kill Jews? Or just Pakistani-American auto parts dealers? It's the Twinkie (tm) defense all over again.

The Ottoman Turks didn't much like the Empire's Greeks, but their Greek-induced "xenophobia" doesn't mean the Greeks were responsible for the Armenian genocide, does it? The Rwandan Hutu nationalists were brutally conquered by the Belgians, but that is no excuse for killing nearly a million people in a matter of months. The Nazis came to power in Germany with a policy of restoring that country's glory that was taken from them by the victorious Allied Powers of WW1. But nowhere in the Treaty of Versailles does it call for the systematic extermination of over ten million civilians.

Call these things what they are: Murders. Genocides. Heinous crimes against Man and God. Don't take their bait and shift the blame to whoever had made these murderers uncomfortable in the past.

Are we clear?

"However, unlike most religions, within Islam there are certain provisions under which lying is not simply tolerated, but actually encouraged."

That is chapter and verse from Some Dude on the Internet. Where in the Quran are Muslims encouraged to lie to "infidels"?
