I think the statement of the Vatican official was more along the lines of suggesting that poking your crazy neighbor in the eye is not very bright, along with suggesting that mocking the faith of others is ill-mannered.

Regarding your comment about IP addresses. The article does contain a number of the offenders email addresses and one apparently Islamic web address. Would that do for a start?

This reminds me of what Monica Crowley says every week on her radio program. "When people tell you who they are and what they are going to do, believe them."

The ugly face of our enemy could not be more spelled out. When will the "authorities" take threats seriously. How about a trial in absentia. The crime is against someone IN America. It's not the name calling (free speech of course). It's the threat to murder.
