I love ghost stories, and I don't mean the stupid Stephen King stuff, but the real thing!
Yeah, Ben liked women. Maybe he was a bit jealous at that, should've said they were French. He might've gotten a more obvious response.

Thanks for the ping Curley, I always enjoy your ghost stories. We are going to San Antonio this weekend and we are staying in the Menger Hotel. That is the old hotel across from the Alamo. The oldest part of the hotel is supposed to have a ghost and I planned for us to stay in the old wing until I found out it cost $375. per night. We are staying in the less pricey new wing.

Is Ben Franklin still roaming the streets of his "City of Brotherly Love"?
Do the very souls of our forefathers still frequent Independence Hall? Does Benedict Arnold have unfinished business at the Powel House?

A friend of mine saw the ghost of a boy hotel in Virginia. He asked me to inquire about ghosts when I went there for a follow up business trip.
The hotel manager told me quite candidly that many guest see ghosts. She had seen them too.
She told me of one guest who was always sitting in the lobby when she came in for work at 6 am. Eventually, he told he it was because of the ghost sleeping beside him in bed. She told him not to worry, he would only be charged for a single.
I didn't see anything there. But, I did lose a couple hours of sleep when I inadvertently stayed in one of the haunted rooms. I was awakened several times by what sounded like a ghost. When I say, "sounded like a ghost", I mean that if you take that universal sound everyone makes when they imitate ghost sounds, then expand on it like you're not joking around. I heard it several times over about an hour period. It sounded like it was in the hallway.
At 3 am, I had very little interest in investigating it. I'm just glad nothing happened in the room.

No problem. We're not a high volume ping list... Sometimes we go weeks without a ping, then get two or three in a week.
