Thank goodness. :)
LOL
My brother is in Vero Beach; my folks are headed there today from Colorado and my nieces family from Pittsburgh, they may be surprised.
Oh Great. Not only does it look like I'll be snowed in for my birthday on Sunday and have to cancel my plans, and not the first time that's ever happened - remember the blizzard of '83? but, now I think I'm catching a cold or flu ....God hates me. (pity sarcasm)
So instead of drinking hot rum toddies, it will be Nyquil shooters to ease the pain of watching the wall to wall snow coverage coverage on local TV cause they'll pre-empt everything else becasue nothing is more important than some info-babe standing on a highway overpass telling us it's snowing. (local media disgust sarcasm)
Oh Hell since life as we know it is now over and there is no hope, think I'll have both the hot rum toddies and the Nyquil. (comfortably numb sarcasm)
I'll send one last transmission and fond farewell to you all before the snow collapses in on me. (just plain sarcasm)
Drop everything and run to the store for bread and milk....
Local weather projections"
WGAL, 4-6"
WHP, 7-9"
WHYL, 6-8"
Penn State weather channel (local), 12-14"
Sure wish they would get their stories (projections) together.
No one from FEMA has been here to shovel my driveway all winter.
My attorney is drawing up papers as we speak.
Sigh.... Yep... The good news is the plow truck is finally almost repaired so we should be able to get up and down the driveway... And, I just got my first season of SG-1 on DVD... I'm a new fan so it should be a nice weekend. :-)
vero may be a little warmer than the tampa area but come saturday evening they are expecting low 40's high 30's at night.
I got a hunch I'm going to be spending the day shoveling.
You're right---I was at Okemo last weekend and the grooming was excellent....even with the rain overnight!!!
bump
We currently have a little more than an inch so far here in central Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, and the forcasts are for 8-12 inches by tomorrow morning. Guess we'll see. :)
Snowing in Lancaster County, PA.
I'm sittin' northern Morris County--prolly 10". Just made sure the blower had enough gas in it.
The sun comes out in the winter.

Some parts of New England may get up to 2 feet of snow.
Finally a good ol fashioned Nor'easter.
Blizzard warnings in many parts of Southern Mass.
