Just saw Mayer at a lecture last night presented by the Sacramento Valley Astronomical Society. Debunked "Big Bang" in a 2-and-a-half hour lecture. In the event he's proven correct, I got his autograph.

Not every one might have thought that the earth is flat in any age. The point is the flatness is a very strong intuitive impression. The belief that it is a sphere even in the modern age will depend either on trust of what the others say or discovering that for yourself. By the same token it is plain that not anyone in any age thought that time was linear with a definite point of beginning or a measurable edge whether that edge called Big Bang or creation out of nothing.
What happened to the book? It seems not to have been published. There are parts of his another book on-line but nothing in print either. Neither could I find anywhere any reasonable refutation of that fellow’s theory. Strange.
