He is giving our country away, and made it clear last night his stand on illegal immigration. I am officially off the Republican farm. I will vote Dim if they support border reform.

GWB said it was NOT going to be an amnesty program, and I believe him. Tom, work with the President, instead of harping. It can be done, and can be done right.

That part of the speech was the most lukewarm applause he got during the whole thing.

PresBush supports open borders. Bush wants to assure that there is a continued flow of cheap labor into the US from Mexico. Pandering for the Hispanic vote is another reason to ignore the illegal immgration problem. For five years the President has been running away from this critical national security issue. Makes no sense whatsoever.

We have between 12-20 million illegals in this country.
Giving them the "right" to work here after they have broken our immigration law IS an amnesty.
And if you believe that they'll go home after their time here is done, I have a bridge in Arizona I'd like to sell you.

You've got to be a troll.
Where did Bush say anything about supporting illegal immigration.

I have often wondered if they think after three years the illegals, along with family and possessions, will just willingly walk back across the border? What a bunch of dumb asses.

I could have swore he said "NO AMNESTY"?
Maybe it was just Ted Kennedy getting in my head.

Wake up Dane. Talk is cheap. The Bush guest worker proposal is nothing but backdoor amnesty. You and your buds in the open border crowd have enjoyed the five years of inaction from this POTUS. Three more years of inaction and you'll be overjoyed.

My votes will be for people who will enforce our immigration laws. I am sure there will be many "blanks" left on my ballot.
I am through voting for the "lesser of two evils". Illegal aliens affect everything in my life now. From police response to the cost of my healthcare.
I can't even vote on the war on terror issue since border security and not having any idea of who is in our country is a HUGE security issue. I am much more likely to become a victim of a crime committed by an illegal alien than terrorists. What homeland security?

No troll. If you have been around FR for more than a day and have read through an "illegal" thread, you have seen my comments. Our President is giving our beautiful America away.

My thoughts exactly. Illegal immigration has impacts in all aspects of our daily lives. To believe otherwise is political.

I do not belive the GW on immigration, this is but an amnesty under a different name. I will do what ever it takes to oppose every way I can. Jorger (Rockefeller Republican) Arbusto is no conservative.
